An antitic bomb? And they used it to blow up the Unbelievable?

The audience watching the live stream was stunned into silence.

On-screen, an elderly man with half his brain misaligned—anchored ntally in the 1970s—began to speak clearly, as if flipping through the pages of an invisible history book that only he could see.

"We began redesigning the third prototype," he said, voice steady. "But by then, oversight protocols were starting to break down. We weren't sure if the project leads even rembered us… or that we ever existed."

The concept of "antis" clicked into everyone's mind at once—sothing that erases itself from mory, even from reality.

He continued, "There was a cult incident in Ojai. It was wrong—everything about it. In just a few days, it went nationwide. The news was saturated with it. But it was impossible—no idea can spread so fast without sothing unnatural driving it."

The old man's eyes darkened.

"The cult's beliefs were aggressively contagious. The opposite of incredible. They couldn't be forgotten."

That's when their bomb beca relevant. It wasn't designed to kill bodies—it was made to erase concepts.

They sought guidance from their superiors. There was no reply.

The viewers could all imagine the scene—a tic plague sweeping through society. Not a biological virus, but an idea that infects minds, leaping from person to person faster than logic could explain.

Nick Fury, watching from S.H.I.E.L.D., turned pale. How do you fight a threat you can't rember exists?

Then the old man dropped a bombshell.

"Eight days into the outbreak, the Foundation ca. They seized everything—our research, personnel, resources... including . Those who didn't cooperate were mind-wiped and returned to the army. Then we detonated the second antitic bomb. The cult was gone. Completely. Zero casualties. No one even rembered it existed."

The live chat exploded with disbelief:

> "One bomb and the cult vanished??" "Not even a nuke can do that!" "It erased concepts! This is next-level SCP power…"

Even within S.H.I.E.L.D., agents sat frozen in awe.

Fury muttered, "Even ideas can be destroyed…?"

The old man's tale continued.

"After joining the Foundation, our work accelerated. Each tech breakthrough helped us discover more hidden SCPs. I passed field trials and joined the Ghost Hunting Unit. My life was changed forever."

But then his voice dropped.

He looked toward Wheeler, and his words beca heavier.

"There's one SCP your departnt has never encountered. One we failed to contain—'The Escapee.' That's what you ca for, isn't it?"

The Escapee.

That na turned heads even among the supervisors watching. There was indeed a file by that na—SCP-3125.

Could this be connected to the fall of the Antitics Division?

Wheeler nodded gravely. "Yes. That's what I want to know about."

The old man's eyes narrowed.

"It ate my entire division alive."

He explained that it ca too quickly and violently. They had to self-destruct to stop it. But they had no nukes on-site—because SCP-3125 had erased them first.

Wheeler didn't interrupt. She let him talk.

"If you know it exists, it knows you exist," he whispered. "The more you learn about it, the more it learns about you. If you can see it, it can see you."

Wheeler's expression shifted. She realized sothing was wrong.

She was alone on the boat. No backup. No team. Not even a second vessel.

"This doesn't make sense…" she murmured.

The invisible horror had already begun its work.

Suddenly, she turned and pointed her gun at the old man.

"Is it inside you?" she demanded.

The old man's eyes closed, and he rasped, "The only way to kill it is to destroy all knowledge of it. Restoring my mory brings it back!"

Wheeler tried to contact soone. She splashed water in the old man's face.

"EI. Are you still in there?"

But sothing had changed. His voice distorted.

"There's a way to fix it…" he muttered, crawling blindly toward a tal case.

Wheeler's gun trembled in her hand.

"Tell what this thing is!"

"Wrong question," the old man said darkly. "You'll set off another bomb."

"But we don't have that tech—"

"YOU DO!" he roared. "There's a lab at Site-41. A place you've forgotten. You planted the bomb there!"

A supervisor watching from afar blinked. "Wait… when did we ever have a Site-41?"

Jas, who had remained silent all this ti, said coldly, "Just like we never had an Antitics Division?"

The other supervisor was stunned into silence.

Back on the screen, Wheeler shouted, "If I trigger it now, we'll just reset the cycle. We'll be back here again!"

"There's no containing it!" the old man bellowed. "The departnt's just running in circles. Either it eats us, or we erase ourselves. This isn't new. It's happened before. Again and again—for centuries!"

His hand found the tal box. But it was too late.

From his eye socket, a black, jagged tentacle uncoiled.

SPLAT!

Blood sprayed everywhere.

The man scread, grabbing the writhing limb, but it felt as hard as bone.

Wheeler scread, "WHAT IS THAT THING?!"

A second limb pierced his throat, ripping through his vocal cords.

He gurgled helplessly.

A third spider-like leg burst from his stomach.

BANG!

Wheeler fired into his head. He fell—but didn't die.

Instead, he crawled forward like a puppet, three insect limbs holding his body up.

His arms lifted, as though guided by unseen strings.

"Damn it!"

BANG BANG BANG BANG!

Wheeler emptied her clip.

The boat began to tremble violently.

The lake rippled, reacting to whatever was lifting the ship.

The entire vessel rose 30 ters—ten stories—into the air!

In S.H.I.E.L.D., Natasha stared at the screen. "Is it flying? Or… is it lifting the boat with invisible limbs?"

Fury's face turned dark.

He connected the dots.

This was SCP-3125. It had returned.

On the screen, Wheeler, struggling to stay upright, made a desperate move.

She grabbed a Class B amnesiac from the d kit.

Injected herself.

The viewers were baffled.

"What's that supposed to do?"

Then she stood, walked to the edge of the ship—

—and jumped.

PLUNK!

She hit the water hard.

Seconds later, she surfaced, blinking in confusion.

"…What am I doing here?" she mumbled.

She had forgotten everything.

The invisible enemy, sensing that it was no longer known, vanished.

Back in S.H.I.E.L.D., silence reigned.

They had just witnessed the effects of antitics in real ti.

A second ago, Wheeler had been fighting a nightmare. The next, she rembered nothing.

Natasha whispered, "Why did it stop attacking after she jumped?"

Nick Fury, eyes closed, repeated the old man's words.

"

If you know it exists, it knows you exist… The only way to destroy it is to destroy all knowledge of it."
