Now reading: Chapter 132: The Seven Brides of the Scarlet King — SCP-999, from New Star In Marvel, a Action novel by Dragonscribe31.

As the chilling contents of the email continued to appear on the screen, the previously excited and joking audience suddenly fell into complete silence.

Sothing was very wrong.

Was there a hidden truth behind SCP-999?

---

S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters

Nick Fury leaned forward, a rare smile forming on his face.

"I knew it. The O5 Council would never hand out a safe assignnt without a reason."

Across the room, Natasha Romanoff rolled her eyes.

"Looks like even the most powerful leaders play favorites."

She leaned closer to the monitor. "Let's see what they're hiding."

---

Back on screen, Jas's expression turned cold and serious.

He continued scrolling through the O5's classified ssage.

> [To understand why this matter is important, you must first understand the origins of SCP-999.]

Origins? Jas's eyes narrowed.

> [You may have noticed that the file on 999 doesn't ntion where it was found. That was intentional.]

> [If you're unfamiliar with the mythology surrounding the Crimson King, we strongly recomnd reading through the relevant Foundation files.]

> [Many of our most dangerous SCPs either originate from the Crimson King himself or are the monstrous children born from his "unions" with his brides.]

---

The entire livestream chat froze.

"What the hell?! Is 999... one of the Crimson King's children?"

"That Supre God again? The one that nearly corrupted Galactus?!"

"No way. 999 is pure sunshine and laughter! He can't be related to that! Right?!"

---

Kamar-Taj

The Ancient One stood motionless, eyes locked on the monitor.

"It can't be…" she whispered.

She rembered the power that lingered inside SCP-682, the immortal monster she once studied.

Inside 682's flesh, she had felt a remnant—faint, but unmistakable—of the Crimson King's power.

And now, this?

Was 999 truly born of the sa bloodline?

---

Back in the feed, Jas stopped scrolling.

Instead of reading the rest of the ssage right away, he pulled up a second screen and typed into the Foundation's internal database: "Crimson King."

As those two terrifying words appeared, a chilling pressure seed to sweep across the Marvel Universe.

---

[Supre Divinity – Crimson King]

Even Jas's hands trembled as he opened the file.

He wasn't alone.

Nick Fury wiped sweat from his forehead.

Tony Stark dropped his coffee mug.

Doctor Strange, ditating in a sanctuary, snapped his eyes open.

Even the Watcher, Uatu, stirred in his dinsion.

This wasn't just another god. This was sothing worse.

---

The screen displayed only a few sentences:

> [The Crimson King is not a god in the traditional sense. He is a force—an idea. He is chaos, vengeance, and hatred, shaped by ti and civilization. He is born from the hatred of barbarism toward modernity, and thrives in it.]

> [He is associated with the number seven. He has no form, yet shapes many. He resists containnt by being uncontainable.]

> [He is the sound in the wind. Not containing him is the best way to contain him.]

---

Silence followed.

Every single viewer of the livestream sat frozen.

It wasn't a long paragraph. It wasn't filled with monstrous visuals.

But sohow, it was more terrifying than any monster.

---

In Kamar-Taj, the Ancient One's lips trembled.

She had once peered into the void and seen the Crimson King's afterimage while observing 682.

But this… this went beyond comprehension.

The Crimson King was not just a monster.

He was a concept, a poisonous shadow in the very laws of reality.

---

Uatu the Watcher clenched his fists.

"He spans all multiverses..." he whispered.

"Do we have a version of him? Is he already here?"

---

Jas, now deeply disturbed, returned to the O5 ssage.

More lines filled the screen:

> [You've been with the Foundation for a long ti, Dr. Jas. By now, you've probably heard rumors—about the horrible things we've done. So you might think are lies... others, too dark to be real.]

> [You've probably heard of a phrase—'110-Montauk.']

> [I regret to tell you... it's all true. Or at least, it was.]

---

110-Montauk.

Satanic ritual.

Brides of the Crimson King.

These phrases stirred dread in everyone watching.

Jas's hand gripped the mouse tightly, knuckles white.

---

> [A group known as "The Children of the Scarlet King" perford a ritual to create seven brides—vessels—to bear the King's monstrous offspring.]

> [How they gained the knowledge is unknown. So suspect a link to Sarkicism, but no direct connection has been confird.]

> [Each child born would be more destructive than the last. The seventh would bring about the end of the world.]

> [Only the daily performance of "Procedure 110-Montauk" could stop it.]

---

The agents at S.H.I.E.L.D. were stunned.

Nick Fury leaned back slowly.

So that's what the rumors ant.

Those horrible procedures—the whispered stories about girls being sacrificed to delay the end tis—they were all true.

---

Natasha Romanoff's expression paled.

"All that… just to stop the apocalypse?"

She gritted her teeth.

"No wonder they kept it buried."

---

Jas kept reading.

> [Eventually, the O5 Council made a desperate decision. After the deaths of the first six brides, they decided to stop 110-Montauk on the seventh.]

> [The seventh bride was allowed to give birth. The gamble: maybe this child would not be a monster.]

> [This child would not be a destroyer... but a savior.]

---

And then Jas saw it:

> [SCP-999 is the result.]

---

BOOM.

The chat erupted.

> "WHAT?! 999 is the Crimson King's child?!"

> "But he's good! He saves people!"

> "The Seventh Bride didn't submit to the King... She gave us 999 as hope?!"

> "THIS is why the O5 assigned Jas! He's not babysitting. He's watching the only hope we have!"

---

Kamar-Taj

The Ancient One clutched her chest.

Everything made sense now.

The warmth. The joy. The purity inside 999…

It was the final rebellion of a god's bride who dared to defy him.

---

S.H.I.E.L.D.

Nick Fury turned toward his agents.

"This isn't a containnt subject anymore."

He looked back at the screen.

"This is the future of the world."

---

Conclusion

SCP-999, the laughing orange blob, wasn't just an experint or a sideshow anomaly.

He was the son of the seventh bride of the Crimson King.

The only child born not to bring destruction...

…but to bring salvation.
