"Irantu, wings!"

Onru, who had been leading the team cautiously through the corridor, suddenly froze in place and raised her hand, pointing above her head with a grim expression.

"How many?" soone behind her asked with tension.

Onru paused, her brow furrowed in concentration. "A lot… I can't tell the exact number. They're small… but there are countless of them. Swarming."

Jack glanced at her skeptically, but the seriousness in her tone forced him to ask, "What else can you hear, Power Girl?"

She tilted her head slightly, clearly trying to focus on the sounds. "It's like… clinking noises, like crystals smashing into each other. It's hard to describe."

At that mont, Ross's face twisted in horror as a mory snapped into focus. He suddenly shouted, "F**k! Crystal butterflies! We're screwed—we'll be shredded!"

Crystal butterflies? The term rang ominously in everyone's ears. Another containnt? Another SCP?

Nick Fury narrowed his eye as the na stirred sothing in his mory—an image. The faint, imposing silhouette of Dr. Kondraki flashed in his mind. Why him, and why now?

anwhile, on the screen, Houston's complexion turned ghostly pale. "My God… where did they co from? How did they get in?"

"Vent!"

"Vent!"

Two voices cried out in unison—Jas and Onru.

Just as they shouted, a delicate ding-ling ding-ling sound echoed across the corridor—tallic and rhythmic, like wind chis in a storm.

It was gentle at first, but within seconds, the soft sound beca a cacophony, a roaring symphony of crashing crystals.

BOOM!!!

A deafening eruption burst from the ceiling vents, and suddenly, the corridor was engulfed in a radiant storm of butterflies.

They poured out in overwhelming numbers, a shining avalanche of glimring wings, forming a dazzling yet terrifying cloud of razor-sharp crystal creatures.

T-5 Irantu didn't hesitate. "Everyone get down!"

No one needed the order repeated. Each mber dropped to the floor, covering their heads in a desperate attempt at protection.

But Irantu—he ran toward the swarm.

He sprinted forward, directly into the cloud of butterflies without hesitation. His figure disappeared into the torrent of sparkling wings.

BOOM!

An explosive burst of fire roared from the sa vent, sending a blastwave down the corridor.

Crash!

Crackling!

Shatter!

For several breathless monts, all that could be heard was the sound of crystals smashing—millions of tiny shards cracking, grinding, and exploding across tal and flesh alike.

And then… silence.

Slowly, the storm abated. The sound of crystal wings faded, leaving behind only the distant hum of chanical systems.

When the team dared to look up, what they saw sent chills down their spines.

It was Irantu—but a version of him no one was ready for.

He looked like he had walked out of hell itself.

His body was blackened and charred, resembling a slab of burnt coal. Muscle and flesh had been shredded by the butterflies' wing-blades. Bits of at fell off his fra with each movent. His back was scorched, blistered, and open, revealing implanted cybernetic components through the layers of destroyed tissue.

The sight left everyone stunned. If Irantu hadn't sacrificed himself in that mont… they all knew they wouldn't have survived. They'd be shredded—gutted by the bladed wings of those creatures.

In the S.H.I.E.L.D. viewing room, agents were frozen in silence. Even Nick Fury said nothing, his expression unreadable. Sowhere deep inside, he felt sothing he hadn't expected: envy.

The Foundation's soldiers… they were different. Willing to die. Capable of withstanding the impossible.

It reminded everyone of the ti Jas had tried to contain SCP-096, charging it head-on in desperation. That sa spirit echoed now in Irantu.

Suddenly, a gasp rippled through the team. Soone noticed it first, and the others followed in disbelief.

Irantu was moving.

Despite his grotesque injuries, he was alive. He didn't even look close to dying.

Onru quickly stepped forward and gave him an injection of regenerative fluid. "Can you keep going?"

Irantu gave a crooked grin. Pain was evident, but he didn't show weakness. "Definitely."

Jack blinked in disbelief. "Jesus f*****g Christ, man… Are you okay?"

Irantu chuckled, dry but genuine. "Why wouldn't I be?"

Jack raised his hand with a stunned smile and gave him a thumbs up. "I'm convinced! You're sothing else."

It was then that everyone rembered—the mbers of the Reincarnation Squad weren't ordinary soldiers. They were near-immortal war machines.

With Irantu standing once more, body slowly knitting itself together through biochanical regeneration, the team resud their march.

They soon passed through a vast hall where black liquid seeped from the walls, forming a viscous, unnatural layer along the ground. The entire area pulsed with a sinister aura.

Beyond the hall, they reached a dark chamber.

The room was massive—spanning hundreds of ters in diater. Dim green lights dotted the walls like stars in the void.

At the far end stood a massive, tower-like structure, partially veiled in shadow but clearly chanical in origin. The green lights outlined its fra like a skeletal beacon.

Jack leaned close to Ross. "Hey, boss… what's in there? My mask's busted—I can't see shit."

Ross scanned the darkness, his eyes narrowing.

"There's definitely so sort of machinery," he muttered. "Right beneath those green lights. It's hard to make out... Wait. Oh shit. Look at the ceiling. No, don't look. Or maybe… F**k."

"What is it?" Jack whispered urgently.

Ross's voice dropped, his words trembling. "There's stuff on the ceiling. Living stuff. I don't know what the hell they are, but they're watching us. Hundreds of them. I swear—at least five hundred."

The tension in the room skyrocketed.

"I don't recognize them," Ross continued. "They're not like anything I've ever seen. I think… we should avoid doing anything—"

BOOM!

Before he could finish, the floor exploded.

About a hundred ters away, a pillar of fire shot into the air, tearing through the hall with raw force.

The shockwave crashed against the walls, sending debris flying and the team staggering.

Then it appeared.

A giant black appendage, smooth and wet, broke through the wreckage. A dozen scarlet eyes blinked open along its length, all fixated on the team.

"F**k it!"

"Oh my God…"

But the horror didn't end there.

From above, another wave of terror dropped.

Squeak!!!

An ear-splitting cry echoed across the chamber, followed by hundreds—maybe thousands—of tiny, insect-like entities falling from the ceiling like rain.

The team had no room to retreat.

They were being ambushed from both above and below.

For a mont, panic set in. Death seed certain.

One second passed. Then another. And another...

But sothing strange happened.

They weren't being attacked.

The swarm of tiny entities didn't target the humans. Instead, they dove at the giant leech-like creature, slashing and biting at its dark skin.

The black beast roared and retaliated, swinging its appendages and opening its massive maw.

With terrifying power, it began to devour the small creatures, pulling dozens at a ti into its mouth, crushing them in bursts of acidic gore.

The ceiling creatures retaliated just as viciously, tearing at the beast's eyes, clawing at its flesh. So were swallowed, but others latched on, trying to drag it down.

The humans stood frozen.

They were watching two anomalies—two SCP-like entities—fighting each other with ruthless intent.

The scene was chaos incarnate, but the implications were even more shocking.

In the livestream, viewers erupted with theories and astonishnt.

"What the hell? They're fighting each other?!"

"Wait… If they're both anomalies, why would they attack instead of teaming up?"

"Hold on—rember earlier? That leech swallowed a tic containnt object!"

"Oh shit… Are you saying this thing… FEEDS on other anomalies?!"

"This thing's a predator of SCPs?!"

The comnt section was flooded with speculation, disbelief, and horror.

Back in the chamber, the team slowly backed away, eyes locked on the battle.

Whatever that leech-like entity was… it wasn't just another monster.

It was sothing worse. Sothing far more dangerous.

Sothing that evolved by devouring the abnormal.

And it had just entered its hunting ground.
