"343 was given the common nickna 'God' by our site staff. Dr. Kondraki fiddled with a cara and said casually:
"When I first spoke to Him, He flatly claid to be the Creator of the universe."
Dr. Kondraki's voice was low and rough, making people feel relaxed unconsciously.
"The Creator of the universe?"
Hearing this, even Jas, who usually kept his emotions in check, was speechless. Not to ntion the audience in the live broadcast room. Isn't the creator of the universe a bit of an exaggeration?
"Surprised, huh?" Dr. Kondraki shrugged and grinned.
"When I asked Him to prove this, He smiled, walked out through the containnt cell wall, and returned seconds later with a burger in His hand."
Jas frowned. Walked out through the containnt wall? When faced with an unknown containnt object, the level of special containnt procedures is usually quite strict. Anti-thaumaturgy, reality anchors, anti-s… and so on. As long as there's a potential hazard, there's a corresponding containnt ability. But 343 just walked out like that?
Dr. Kondraki seed pleased with Jas's surprise and continued:
"When I visited him the second ti, the previously bare single room had been upgraded with furnishings in an old English style, a roaring fireplace, and the room was many tis larger than it looked from the outside."
Hearing this, Jas frowned even deeper. Not only did He freely co and go, but He also transford the containnt room? The most important thing is that this guy seems to be able to create things out of thin air... This alone made Him worthy of the title of 'God.'
Seeing Jas's reaction, Dr. Kondraki laughed:
"Relax, He loves talking to people and seems to know everything. SCP-343 has been harmless so far, and all staff have been allowed in. But sohow, they all find the ti to see Him whenever they need to."
Hearing this, Jas was no longer as surprised as before. God! Omniscient, omnipotent. It was even more normal to give promises to believers.
"In fact, visits to SCP-343 have beco a daily event for many of the staff here, and all staff report feeling happier after each visit."
Dr. Kondraki gave a weird smile:
"From the look of you, it's likely that you've heard so contrary news."
Jas did not answer but asked, "So, what is my mission?"
"It's very simple." Dr. Kondraki stood up with the cara in his hand, patted Jas on the shoulder, and said with a smile, devoid of airs of a site director, "Just have a simple chat with God and see if He needs anything."
Seeing this, the audience who had been arguing before suddenly fell silent. The atmosphere in the live broadcast room grew weird. Peace God… chat? What kind of mission is this?
Even Jas felt it was a little unreal. Unfortunately, after Dr. Kondraki finished speaking, he urged Jas to carry out his mission and refused to elaborate any further.
Soon, Jas arrived at the door of a holding room according to the address on the file. Compared to the 24-hour surveillance at the doors of other containnt rooms, there was no one in front of SCP-343's containnt room. After all, He was a god. When Jas arrived at the door, his breathing changed slightly. But before he could open it, he heard a kind male voice coming from inside:
"A guest is here, please co in."
:"...
Live broadcast room: "..."
Jas looked at the file in his hand, then looked up at the number on the containnt room, thinking that he had gone to the wrong place. After a mont's hesitation, he opened the door.
Then, he saw an old English-style room just like what Dr. Kondraki had described. An elderly man sat in a wooden chair next to a roaring fireplace. His eyes matched the room.
"Hello, Jas," He said.
When the audience in the live broadcast room saw the old man, the entire Marvel world exploded instantly!
"Oh my God! It's really God!"
"Mom, co out and see God!"
"How is it possible! There really is a god living in the Foundation?"
"It's crazy, everything is crazy!"
"..."
S.H.I.E.L.D.
"Lord Jehovah, we are in heaven, our loving Father..."
"Allah, forgive us..."
"The Tathagata saves suffering..."
Hearing the rhythmic prayers from SHIELD, Nick Fury's face was so gloomy that it looked like water could drip from it. He was not against agents having faith, but...
"Damn it! Are your heavenly fathers the sa god?"
Nick Fury's words instantly caused a group of devout believers to glare at him angrily.
"Even if you are the boss, you cannot insult my Heavenly Father."
"Allah is the highest and only reality in the universe, the only true Lord who deserves worship!"
Nick Fury interrupted everyone loudly: "But there is obviously only one God on the screen!"
At this point, others also realized sothing was wrong. They asked in amazent:
"Isn't that the Father you see?"
"Uh... it's obviously Sakyamuni Buddha!"
Ignoring the arguing agents, Nick Fury stared at the screen with a frown. In his eyes, the old man was not the Heavenly Father or Sakyamuni Buddha, but a peaceful old man. Everything he said and did gave people an indescribable sense of holiness. It made people subconsciously want to worship him.
"Could it be that... His appearance is different for every observer?"
Nick Fury vaguely guessed so information. Obviously, whoever this 343 appeared to, it would take the most familiar and comforting form to that individual!
Thinking of this, Nick Fury was shocked!
343... it's really a god.
In the picture, Jas was stunned for a mont, then recovered. He bowed slightly, "Hello, sorry to bother you."
Imdiately, he walked into the house. 343 invited Jas to sit on the chair, and before Jas could ask anything, tea appeared in front of him.
Jas's eyes widened in shock. Because this tea had appeared out of thin air.
What shocked him even more was... He had just happened to think of green tea. He looked at 343, his expression slightly unnatural.
"Relax, kid, it's just a casual encounter, right?" 343 said with a smile.
His smile seed to have a kind of magic. The originally agitated Jas gradually cald down.
"Do you know ?" Jas asked as the first question.
"Yes," SCP-343 said, smiling. "I see you coming. Welco to Site-17."
As His voice fell, Jas's eyes suddenly widened!
The audience in the live broadcast room was also stunned in place!
They were shocked to find that the environnt in the containnt room had changed again!
If it was a British-style living room just now, then now... Jas and 343 seed to be in an endless pure white space. White without any impurities... White, it makes people feel pure holiness!
At this ti, everyone began to worry about Jas. After all, the person opposite him was a god!
Jas looked around, then squinted at 343: "Where is this? I'm a researcher at Site-17. Please send back!"
As Jas spoke, he searched for the alarm in his arms. However…
Nothing was found.
"That's not the case." 343 paused: "I can't see your past, nor can I see your future."
Jas narrowed his eyes and said sarcastically: "It seems that you are not the so-called omniscient and omnipotent. Who are you? Why do you do this?"
The audience in the live broadcast room was so nervous when they saw this! Everyone looked at Jas on the screen in disbelief, speechless with shock.
This guy... Are you challenging a god?
Nick Fury's forehead was bulging with veins, his fists tightly clenched, cursing inwardly: "Is this guy crazy?"
Fortunately, 343 wasn't offended by Jas's words as everyone had imagined.
"I am SCP-343 now. I brought you here to warn you that this world is irreversibly heading towards destruction." 343's expression was serious.
So much so that the entire space seed to beco unstable.
Jas's eyes remained calm: "As long as the Foundation exists, the world will not perish."
Jas felt that this was a bit against his will. Human civilization may perish, but the Foundation will not!
343 smiled slightly, and the audience in the live broadcast room imdiately broke free from the majestic atmosphere, feeling like they were bathed in a spring breeze.
"You already have the answer in your heart, don't you?"
Jas's tone remained calm: "I think I should go back."
"As you wish."
The next mont, Jas and 343 returned to the familiar British-style containnt room. 343 still had that warm smile on his face, as if nothing had happened.
Jas, on the other hand, looked at him deeply, bowed slightly, and said, "Nice to et you."
" too..."
The scene ended here. However, what should have been a very simple task beca complicated due to 343's inexplicable remarks. For example, why did 343 say that He could not see Jas's past and future clearly? Isn't He supposed to be omniscient and omnipotent? Also, what did He an when He said that the world was irreversibly heading toward destruction? Did 343 know so secrets about the Foundation world? And why did He choose to reveal these words only to Jas?
Puzzles piled up one after another, filling everyone's mind. They looked at the screen with even more
