On screen, the battle between the two figures wasn't nearly as flashy or theatrical as earlier fights. In fact, it even seed a bit awkward at tis.
But not a single person across the entire Marvel universe dared to laugh.
Instead, a cold silence descended as a collective unease crept in.
It was because of what Dr. Clef had said.
The future he described was too grim, too hopeless to simply brush off. Even though he claid it was a lie, the image had already planted itself in the minds of the viewers. Like a poison, it lingered.
They knew it might not be real. But what if it was?
S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters
"What he said... it's not real, right?" Natasha Romanoff asked, her face unusually pale.
"Even if it is, it's sothing that happened in another universe," Nick Fury replied flatly.
That seed to ease the tension in the room. Heads nodded slowly. Of course—those anomalies were exclusive to that Foundation universe. Not their own.
And yet... as Fury looked back at the screen, a shadow of doubt passed through his eyes.
He hadn't shared his own concern:
If these anomalies truly erged endlessly... how could the Foundation endure?
Kamar-Taj
The younger apprentices didn't grasp the implications. They were still buzzing with excitent from their earlier magical role-play gas. But the Ancient One's expression was grave.
Unlike the others, she couldn't afford to dismiss it as fantasy.
If that bleak vision ever beca reality, and these entities breached dinsions... the result wouldn't be rely dangerous. It would be catastrophic.
And so entities, she knew, did transcend dinsions.
Asgard
"A god... went mad?" Loki muttered to himself. As a god, even he felt disturbed.
Gods weren't supposed to go mad.
But as he stared at the screen, dread brewed in his heart. He had to know where this Foundation story was heading.
Under Jas' intense gaze, the screen dimd. Words began to scroll across.
[Post-Incident 239-B Report: Long-Term Consequences – Excerpts]
Item 97: SCP-239 exhibited uncontrollable Keter-level abilities, indirectly causing the deaths of multiple SCPs and personnel, and the large-scale destruction of Site-17.
Proposal: SCP-239 to remain in a dically induced coma. Dr. Erica Valdason to oversee supervision. Priority: Beta.
Item 102: Several personnel went beyond the call of duty. For their courage and sacrifice, the Foundation awards honorary comndations to: Researcher Jas, Dr. Bright, Dr. Gears, Dr. Kondraki, and Director Kain Pathos Crow.
Jas is officially promoted to high-level researcher. Priority: Epsilon.
The live broadcast room exploded in shocked chatter.
Jas had just been promoted to high-level researcher. From mid-tier to top-tier!
But then again, if he hadn't stepped in during the crisis, Site-17 might not have survived.
Item 138: Dr. Alto Clef's actions caused deaths and destruction, including non-standard conduct with SCPs 091-ARC and 336.
Proposal: Dr. Clef to be classified as a Euclid-class humanoid SCP and detained at Site-17. Containnt protocols pending. Priority: Alpha.
Silence swept the room.
All the other doctors were being rewarded.
Clef? He was being locked up.
Labeled an anomaly himself.
Many in the audience couldn't believe it.
At that mont, the golden system text reappeared.
[Jas' Third mory Ends!]
Before anyone could react, new text appeared.
[Jas' Fourth Past-Life mory: Initiating!]
[Keywords: Death of the King, Rebirth Plan, Sarkic Cult, Chaos Insurgency, O5 Council...]
Every Marvel viewer leaned forward. The keywords alone were enticing.
The screen flickered.
"You applied for a mory-related project?" Dr. Kondraki's voice echoed.
"Yes."
Dr. Kondraki scratched his head. "You're a doctor now with Level 3 clearance. You can access most files. Why this one?"
"It's Level 4. Top secret."
The audience stirred. Top secret? Interesting.
Kondraki's face changed. "Wait... don't tell ... SCP-3000?"
Jas nodded.
Dr. Kondraki stared at him. Then, after a mont, retrieved a folder from beneath his desk.
"Technically, SCP-3000 has been upgraded to Level 5/3000. Even I might not be able to view it anymore. But this file predates the upgrade. Maybe it will help."
As Jas reached for it, Kondraki held it back.
"Listen. I watched you rise from junior researcher to high-level. Don't do anything you'll regret."
Then he let go.
Viewers were puzzled. Wasn't it just a file?
S.H.I.E.L.D.
Level 4 to Level 5. Top secret. Those words echoed in Nick Fury's mind.
What was Jas looking for?
anwhile, the other agents had just one thought:
Open that file!
[Project Title: Anandashesha]
That single word stunned everyone.
"Anandashesha?" Natasha frowned. "Sounds... mythological."
Maria glanced at her tablet. "Actually... I found sothing. It's from Hindu mythology."
Everyone leaned in.
"Shesha, also known as Anandashesha, is the king of the Nagas, a giant snake with a thousand heads. He supports the stars and was the first serpent born in creation myths."
Fury exhaled. So, it's just a myth.
But then more data surfaced.
[WARNING: CLASS VIII COGNITIVE HAZARD FILE. UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS PROHIBITED.]
The screen shifted.
[SCP-3000 | Object Class: Thaumiel]
Responsible Site: INWBKL Site-151
Supervisor: Kerry Eckelkamp
Lead Researcher: David Bell
Assigned Task Force: SCPFEremita
The audience felt the weight of how serious this project was.
[Special Containnt Procedures]:
SCP-3000 resides in a [REDACTED] zone, spanning a 300km-wide area, constantly patrolled by Foundation warships.
No civilian is permitted to enter the area or attempt deep-sea activity.
Anyone exposed to SCP-3000 must be quarantined and processed at Site-151.
The room went still.
300 kiloters? Natasha whispered. "What is this thing? A school of fish?"
"Even that would be too large," Fury muttered.
Maria hesitated. "Maybe... it's just very big?"
Everyone scoffed.
Then the next section appeared.
[Description]:
SCP-3000 is an aquatic serpentine entity resembling a giant moray eel.
Its total length is estimated between 600 to 900 kiloters.
Its head alone is 2.5 ters wide. Its body can reach a maximum diater of 10 ters.
Silence.
The numbers settled like stones in their hearts.
600 to 900 kiloters.
Everyone stared, stunned.
"WTF?!" soone in the livestream finally scread.
"Did I read that right? 900 kiloters?!"
"Is that... even possible?"
"That's not a creature. That's a continent!"
Back in Kamar-Taj, even the Ancient One was shocked.
She'd witnessed cosmic entities and even fought dinsional gods.
But nothing she had ever encountered ca close to this.
Even the Celestials she'd seen spanned maybe 300,000 ters tall.
But this... Anandashesha?
It was on par with beings that existed above multiversal thresholds.
