But what about Alissa?

As far as he was concerned, she had none of that. If she did, the thing should have already erged from her forehead to beat him up when he was hamring her down with his powerful, world ending brick.

Perhaps her mother, lissa Lockhart, had sothing to do with it.

But was this lissa Lockhart from the Dragon Clan really capable of creating sothing like a transformation technique?

The chances of that were fifty fifty.

It was also possible that the Dragon Clan directly possessed it.

His current theory was that Alissa probably had her mother’s guidance, sothing like past recordings helping her with everything. That was likely where she received these techniques from.

It was not just going to appear out of thin air, was it?

Even Lia’s did not appear out of thin air. It already existed, and Little Hong’s awakening in the secret realm rely unsealed those dormant powers and techniques.

This lissa was no ordinary figure, it seed.

She had prepared everything before she was taken captive by the Dragon Clan.

Speaking of that, Grey thought it was very stupid.

The Dragon Clan had already been classified as a bunch of r***ds by him. There was no need to say much. Just look at what they did simply because a dragon fell in love and gave birth to a half human child, which had now officially turned into a full blown True Source Dragon.

It seed that even the creatures of the starry sky were a bunch of narrow minded dumbasses.

And they most definitely did not foresee Alissa turning into a True Source Dragon either.

If they did, none of the current situation would have happened, that was for sure.

But on the other hand, if this did not happen, he would not be alive right now, nor would he have a family.

If Richard did not lose his mories and find him after falling down here, then he would have most likely died from blood loss as a baby, aning he would never have had the chance to cross over.

"Fate is really unpredictable. There is no escaping it."

He might have said this.

But what he himself had not realized yet was that he had already defied fate countless tis before.

"Speaking of fate." Grey thought about a certain family. "I need to find the seer’s family as well."

...

After Grey was done trailing off from important matters and thinking about random things like usual, he checked around the secret realm for damage and began fixing it using the power of the realm. Once he was all done, he gave the infernals a few instructions before departing.

However, just before he left, Fedrick ca forward.

"City Lord Grey." Fedrick called out respectfully.

Fedrick had seen many things during his few days in the Southern Region, and so far, each encounter and experience had stunned him into oblivion.

The man standing before him was an absolute monster.

And the sight he saw today was simply unbelievable. While his powers were sealed, there was nothing wrong with his eyesight. He was a martial artist after all, and martial artists forged their bodies.

He clearly saw what Grey was fighting and how he looked while fighting.

The re sight of Grey in his transford state left his throat dry.

A halo, an evil looking sword with purple rings on both sides of the blade, and a terrifying energy that gave him a sense of natural suppression. Not to ntion the lightning he used, he could tell with a single glance, as a third ranker, that it was no ordinary lightning.

All of this combined made him look like a chaotic evil god descending upon the mortal world.

Or perhaps the title, Monarch of Calamity, would be more suitable.

Each and every attack he used defied common sense.

Swords numbering in the thousands, a literal ability that seed to defy gravity and sucked everything in, reducing things to the ground with a snap.

Not even the third rankers he knew were so unbelievably monstrous.

The majority of evolvers shot energy beams as their main form of attack, for god’s sake!

He even subdued that mutated beast like creature without any effort.

Fedrick’s years of experience told him that if he were in that situation, he would probably get eaten by the thing. Of course, if he had his third rank powers, he could kill it in one move.

It was not even a competition.

But still, if he had strength similar to the City Lord, he would be the one getting smoked, utterly vaporized.

"City Lord Grey. If you do not mind asking, how old are you?" Fedrick asked carefully, not wanting to offend him.

His past arrogance was gone after witnessing that display of power. Only respect remained, and the reason he asked about Grey’s age was because of his appearance.

He looked no older than eighteen, perhaps even younger.

Extrely young.

He ca from the fabled floating cities, and techniques that preserved youth were extrely rare, requiring enormous fortunes. Even if one pooled all the treasures of the Southern Region together, it still would not be enough.

He even began to doubt the City Lord’s true background.

"My age?" Grey tilted his head. "I’m seventeen. I’ll turn eighteen in a few months."

There was no need to hide it. By now, news of his age must have spread far and wide. Nova City had already integrated into the Ascension Province, his birthplace, and if he was not wrong, he should have already beco a regional sensation.

"WHAT?"

Fedrick staggered back and collapsed onto the ground with a dumbfounded expression.

"S....Seventeen?" he asked, as if he had seen a ghost.

"Yeah." Grey looked at him strangely.

Why was this guy overreacting?

But it made sense. Becoming a City Lord at seventeen was practically unheard of. It was almost guaranteed that he was the first in the entirety of Blue Star.

However, that was not what shocked Fedrick the most.

A second ranker so strong, at this age? It was horrifying.

People of all four regions would not be as shocked as Fedrick. They always held the thought, ’So what if you are a genius here? In the floating cities, there are even more monstrous geniuses.’

But Fedrick, being from the floating cities, could confirm one thing.

"Nobody, absolutely nobody in the history of the Federation has managed to reach the City Lord’s level at his age level."

Reaching second rank?

There were a handful who managed to do so at seventeen or eighteen.

But those people awakened their elixir fields early and started cultivating from childhood.

Such a genius, he had never seen in his life.

If Fedrick knew that Grey had gone from having no rank at all to becoming a second ranker in just two months, he would probably fall unconscious on the spot.
