Boom.
Tian Yuan barely had ti to react. Before he could make another move, Jasmine was already beside him, her speed terrifying, power steadily gathering around her.
"Strength Amplification Aria."
"Speed Amplification Aria."
"Defense Amplification Aria."
Circular runes blood around Jasmine as she shot forward. Identical runes wrapped around her hands, and a dagger abruptly appeared in her grasp.
Clank!
The attack failed to land.
A translucent shield ford around Tian Yuan as he stared coldly at Jasmine. In the next instant, his figure vanished once more.
Thunder roared.
A massive thunder giant materialized in the sky.
Boom!
With its appearance, a colossal hand descended from the heavens, so vast it covered nearly half of the Southern Region.
"What?"
Jasmine’s expression stiffened.
This level of area of effect. He was no ordinary Third Ranker.
"What is that giant?" Far away, Lily’s eyes widened in disbelief. With a hand covering half the Southern Region, it was impossible not to notice.
On the other side.
"Sister Lia, Grey is fighting soone again." Little Hong frowned as she stared into the distance.
Before them stood a spatial crack. Not just any crack, but the one connected to the world beneath the Southern Region.
The place where the Lesser Heaven resided.
Little Hong had already sensed its presence.
"Chief Grey, stop standing there blankly. We need to do sothing."
Jasmine’s voice cut sharply into Grey’s ears. He had been standing there, absent-minded, most likely shaken by the certainty of his impending death.
Hearing her voice, Grey snapped out of it and looked up at the descending hand, frowning.
Imdiately, ti froze.
Just before everything stopped, Tian Yuan’s expression changed in the sky above, then locked into stillness.
Grey exhaled slowly.
He had been too distracted.
He was dying, and the realization felt strange. He wasn’t particularly sad, yet a heavy pressure weighed on his chest.
"But if I just stay like this, nothing will change."
Grey shook his head.
"This man knows the redy to my problem."
A sharp glint flashed in his eyes.
If he wanted answers, he would have to defeat Tian Yuan head-on, together with Jasmine. And to win, he was willing to go to any length.
The frozen black-and-white world pulsed purple.
Circuit-like patterns spread across Grey’s body. His sclera shifted, luminous lines forming from his eyes, connecting into his Saint Eyes like interwoven wires.
Nexus Overclock.
1000%.
Ti resud.
In the next mont, heavenly fire erupted.
For a split second, the entire sky was drowned in blazing dragonic flas erupting from Grey’s body. They were even larger than the descending hand itself.
"Unleash your firepower as well," Grey said rapidly. "My heavenly fire alone won’t be enough."
The mont the words left his mouth, a crushing headache slamd into him. His heartbeat spiraled out of control, and blood burst from all seven of his orifices.
"Chief Grey, you’re injured."
Jasmine understood instantly. He had overexerted himself.
She hesitated no longer.
"Overlimit Fla Explosion!"
Her hands thrust forward as countless magical runes unfolded across half of the Southern Region. The air twisted violently.
Then another torrent of fla surged forward, rging with Grey’s dragonic fire.
Boom!
The hand and the flas collided.
The shockwave swept Grey away.
Jasmine vanished using Projection Fra and caught him mid-air.
"Chief Grey, you’re severely injured," she said, worry seeping into her voice. "You can still escape. He isn’t after you."
"Escape?"
Grey sneered.
The Law of Life churned violently around him. At the sa ti, he pulled out a healing potion from his spatial ring and drank it.
Within seconds, his injuries stabilized.
"I can’t escape, Miss Jasmine," Grey said coldly. "That man has the answers to fixing my soul."
Nexus energy surged wildly around him.
"And I don’t care if I’m on the verge of death. I will make sure he is defeated."
Grey laughed loudly.
"No matter how I look at it, I’m dying either way. So why not die trying?"
At the sa ti, notifications flooded his mind.
[Your comprehension defies the heavens! By observing a body ford from Heavenly Tribulation, you have gained insight into the Law of Heavenly Tribulation!]

[Your comprehension defies the heavens! By observing a body ford from Heavenly Tribulation, you have gained insight into the Law of Heavenly Tribulation!]
The ssages rang repeatedly.
The comprehension rate surged beyond Grey’s control.
The man he was fighting had already reached advanced succession in law comprehension.
At this rate, Grey would reach major comprehension.
That was exactly what he wanted.
"Tian Yuan," Grey’s voice echoed across the battlefield. "You promised a way to save myself."
His aura exploded outward as his Heavenly Tribulation Law surged forth, clashing violently with Tian Yuan’s.
"Then I’ll make sure you’re under my feet in a few minutes."
Grey grinned coldly.
Clank! Boom!
A sword streaked toward him, only to be casually deflected by his bare hand.
"Good. Good!" Tian Yuan’s laughter rang across the land. "It’s been a long ti since I t soone this eccentric."
His eyes narrowed.
"And now that I look at you properly, you’re far from ordinary."
"You have a physique like hers."
Tian Yuan laughed.
"But this body can’t fully sense its existence. A higher-tier physique. Sothing similar to a Future One Physique."
"Hahaha. Excellent."
"Blue Star is overflowing with opportunities. At this rate, I won’t even need to break the Ice Wall to reach the other side and retrieve the treasures my Daoye Palace hid away."
His expression suddenly turned cold.
He looked toward the Abyssal Mistress floating nearby.
"What are you doing just standing there?" he asked coldly. "Go to the Ice Wall and begin the process I ntioned."
"Yes."
The Abyssal Mistress imdiately moved, flying toward the Ice Wall.
