Everyone stared, be it the citizens of Blue Star or the experts in the sky.
Seeing this, Grey added in one final word.
"And starting today, I am the ruler of Blue Star."
"What?" The other fourth rankers’ expressions stiffened.
"How can that be possible? We can’t just leave the matters of a planet to a seventeen-year-old," Yin Matriarch Luna couldn’t help but speak.
"Why not? Are you saying that the planet should fall into the hands of useless pieces of garbage that waste cosmic energy?"
"..." Yin Matriarch Luna fell silent. She wanted to retort, but she knew better than anyone not to say anything against him or it would be a death sentence.
"In this world, power determines everything. If you don’t have power, then just keep quiet," Grey said with a grin.
Your ancestors and elders don’t take you seriously?
Simple. Unleash so of your powers and they will start calling you an ancestor instead.
No matter what sort of person you are, unless you like courting death, you would never really complain about soone who is stronger than you. In the end, the other party could sneeze you out of existence, and everyone held a fear of death.
"And if anyone has any objection to becoming the ruler of Blue Star, then feel free to leave. There are, of course, many neighboring planets around Blue Star after all."
"But you might have to shift from there too, since I plan on taking over those planets as well."
There was one critical goal for Grey: spread his nexus path in the form of the aether path, and he as the creator would slowly accumulate good points for the final ultimate leap.
For that purpose, he would step into the starry sky and conquer planets.
Pulling himself back from his musings, Grey swept his eyes over all the experts present and then finally settled on Yin Matriarch Luna.
"I’ll say it once more. If you have any objections, feel free to leave." Grey pointed at the sky. "The sky is pretty clear for departure today. If you leave now, then I won’t co for you, but if you choose to stay and still cause trouble for , then I will make sure that you live a life that makes you want to die in the end."
The others shivered imdiately.
One of the fourth rankers imdiately stepped forward.
"There is no one better than you to guide this world." It was one of the experts of the eastern region. "It is as you’ve said, Lord Grey, the so-called pillars of humanity are useless. Without your interventions, this planet wouldn’t be in full pieces right now."
"..." Yin Matriarch Luna’s face turned ashen with each passing mont.
With the eastern continent expert agreeing to Grey’s ascension as the ruler, others imdiately chid in. His authority and his powers were not sothing that others could ignore after all.
But agreeing to Grey right now, wouldn’t it be equivalent to slapping herself in the face?
Now, everyone was staring at her.
She really wondered why she had to blurt it out in the first place. Maybe it was because she didn’t want the planet to fall because of soone’s immaturity as a child.
"I also agree with this," Grand Polarity Master, who was observing from the side, said.
"I know I have not done my best in protecting the planet as one of its pillars, but I have decided to change my ways and beco the guardian of Blue Star in the absence of Lord Grey," Grand Polarity Master added.
"Those who decide to go against his wishes and those that act against Blue Star will be my enemy as well," he added.
It was a direct and clear threat directed at Yin Matriarch Luna.
"I admit defeat."
"You are right. I was wrong, so please forgive and let continue staying in Blue Star," Yin Matriarch Luna said with a sour expression.
Grey affird, and with that settled, he was now officially the ruler of Blue Star.
Or was he?
Boom!
The world flashed black for a split mont as a fragnt of divine light shot towards Grey with imnse speed.
Static noise erupted, and the fragnt missed Grey by an inch.
"You, a brat who is still wet behind his ears, want to beco the ruler?"
"Then what the fuck am I? You fucking pig," Luca cursed madly with an enraged look twisting on his face.
He couldn’t take it anymore. Everything that was his was being taken away from him!
All the sanity he held completely vanished, replaced by the sole intent to destroy Grey Lockhart.
Domain force surged rapidly around Luca. Blood seeped through all his orifices, but he didn’t care as his power levels began to surge uncontrollably.
From 10 to 11 to 12, and finally, it crossed to the fifth rank. By now, his body looked completely broken beyond repair.
The unending spear of heaven shot back into his arms as his transford self shot towards Grey with a crazed look.
"Die for !" Luca shouted.
He crossed the distance between him and Grey within seconds and swung the spear in his hand with killing intent.
However, the next mont, space cracked, and within Blue Star, a new sub-dinsion ford, an entirely new layer that was stacked on top of the already existing sub-dinsion of the first layer.
"I was waiting for an opportunity to speak with you." Grey casually waved his hands, and several chains made out of energy ford.
Within seconds, the chains bound themselves to Luca, holding him in place.
"Y-You! Let go of !" Luca’s expression turned as clarity returned.
However, Grey rely looked at Luca with a deadpan face.
"If you don’t mind asking."
"What did Eterna, the AI, do to you to the point that you directly eliminated her consciousness?"
Luca’s expression twisted when he heard this, and he burst out laughing.
"Why shouldn’t I do it? I own that AI. I can do whatever I want with her."
