"Kid Grey, I am going to die today. I can feel it. This mortal body cannot take it anymore. I have tried nourishing it using ginseng, but this world does not have spiritual energy. It cannot have spiritual energy nor any other energies. This is the central point of the multiverse. No one can find this place, not even the high and mighty immortals or the gods. This world is a terrifying place containing the corpses of existences from a higher plane. All the corpses of ancient beings get swept here."
"But it was a good ti spent here."
"I will miss you, lad. You were at least attentive to this old man. I specifically asked you to stay back because I do not know when I will et you again. The others, I will et them soon by gathering them in a plane of existence with spiritual energy. But I do not know about you. Your fate is unpredictable, which leads to believe that you are not ordinary. My Immortal Dharma as the Arclight Immortal has no effect on you."
"Do well in life, and if you manage to break out from here sohow, co find . You can find in the Zenith Heaven. I will keep your parents safe."
Grey’s lips began to twitch violently as he rapidly rembered the parting words of his old grandpa.
Fck! He knew!
Grey’s expression darkened.
He had initially taken his words as crazy rambling before death, and the final "do well in life" as simply the older generation giving a blessing to the younger one. While the old man was considered abnormal, he still had a human heart.
But to think he would possess crucial information related to the Earth of his previous life as being the central point of the multiverse, and also sense the fact that his fate was unpredictable.
’So, this did not start with transmigrating. I always was the fateless one,’ Grey thought to himself.
Grey morized the na ntioned by Wilhelm. Zenith Heaven.
’This must be an upper world.’
Anderson and Angela naturally noticed the change in his expression.
"What is it, Grey? Did you rember sothing about your grandfather? He was the closest to you, after all," Anderson inquired.
"Well," Grey began explaining. He left out the parts about his fate being unpredictable and spoke of the rest to them.
"Zenith Heaven? Is that where Father went?" Anderson had a look of understanding.
"No wonder... The last ti I saw him, he was staring dumbly at a World Tree and saying that he will reach the zenith soon," Anderson said in a confused tone.
"He also told before dying that he will et us either way by using his Immortal Dharma as the Arclight Immortal."
"I guess that is why we are here? Because of his Immortal Dharma?" Grey inquired, to which Angela subtly nodded.
"Huh? He revealed sothing crucial like that to you?" Anderson was dumbfounded. "Yet you just told us that he had his old episode of rambling before passing away?"
"Can you bla Little Silver? We were even more skeptical of Father’s ntal health back then," Angela chid in.
"That is true," Anderson said with an equal sigh.
"By the way. How old are you guys?" Grey asked in a slightly confused tone. "You both are clearly at the 6th or 7th Rank, if I am not wrong."
"I do not think those ranks are sothing you can reach in twenty years or so," Grey added with a questioning gaze.
"Well, about that," Anderson and Angela looked at each other wryly before explaining.
"Your grandfather was the first to arrive in this world. Then he had offspring, and among them, it turned out to be . Your mother was born into the branch family of the Arclights at the sa ti. Your grandfather was easily able to find her using the Immortal Dharma’s power. We both awakened our mories of the past at the age of two or three, I believe. We grew up anxiously every day and spent most of our ti in seclusion, cultivating the technique your grandfather had given us. After nineteen years or so, we both broke through to the 5th Rank. However, your grandfather did not allow us to have children just yet. He told us to cultivate more. We did not know why, but we continued as he instructed. After reaching the peak of the 6th Rank, he finally allowed us to have children."
"He told us that to bring Juli back, there was a special condition to be t. Her fate was far above others, and us being weaker Evolvers would not be able to conceive her. Others did not make the cut either."
"But the first two that ca out were not Juli or you, but our two new children in this world. They are your older brothers, Jeremiah and Jason."
"Juli still did not co. And hence, your grandfather did a ritual to eventually make her arrive in this world..."
"So he did not ntion anything about , huh?" Grey explicitly asked.
"He did ntion you. Rember the falling star dream? He told us that you will also eventually arrive in this world, and a falling star was one of the signs. But he did not tell us when."
"The reason we were worried in the first place was due to the fact that even after two sons, there was still no sign of you. But it looks like the heavens heard our prayers and decided to bring you to us," Angela said with a sigh.
"But once we conceived you, we lost you," Angela beca emotional again. "By then, your grandfather, the pillar of the Arclight family, had vanished. At that ti, a war was going on with a neighboring kingdom called the Archean Divinity Kingdom. They were colluding with an alien force called the Crystal Zerg Race. The Reinhard family, who was part of this alien force, ambushed us and the entire Aeonic Divine Kingdom. It was just one or two months after conceiving you."
"You were still within the Aeonic Divine Kingdom with , while your other siblings were already moved to the Origin Planet in the Human Alliance for safety. The evil Reinhard family took you away, but your father sacrificed his last bit of power to send you away from the kingdom in a space capsule."
Angela had a visibly angered look on her face when she spoke about this.
"But you sohow ended up in the Milky Way Galaxy, which is far away from the Crown Expanse, even though he only made you leave the Aeonic Divine Kingdom."
"We searched everywhere for you and were only able to find you after your Soul Lamp recently lit up."
"Oh." Grey looked surprised.
So that is how Richard found him all the way back in Star Blue, which was also an Earth.
But how did he exactly get to the Milky Way Galaxy? Things were not as simple as they seed.
Then, he asked. "That aside. How did all of you die? Did you guys die of old age or was it similar to ?"
That was the most important question he needed answer to.
How did his family crossover? because that required one to die after all.
