"You might not believe this, but I am currently in a new universe." Jasmine’s voice echoed playfully from the other side of the glowing gate. "I managed to et the cha race by chance. It was a really fun experience. However, along the way, I got ejected out of their reality ship because I tried to dissect one of them to understand their inner functions."
Grey’s lips twitched. That sounded exactly like sothing she would do.
"When I got kicked out, I landed straight in a world with a power I was extrely familiar with. A power that I grew up learning to control: mana particles! They actually sent back to my native universe!"
"But this world is not the era I know. It is in the past. The past where the clone of Tian Yuan had just created the second generation HexCore."
"But that is fine. I managed to work with the scientists here and created more advanced generations. I knew I was a genius all along."
"The way I am sending this ssage is by using my Assistance Device. I managed to trace the coordinates back to you sohow. I had to blow up several barren planets to generate enough computational energy to do so, but it worked. I do not know exactly how. But the fact that you are receiving this ssage ans it succeeded."
"I have also attached the specific coordinates of the universe I am in. They can be inputted into a reality ship, and it should take you directly to ."
"I will be waiting here for you. I am bored out of my mind. Or maybe I should just try reaching the eighth rank on my own, break free from the limitations of this universe, and fly back myself."
"Oh well. I will go do so more research in the anti. Co get soon, Chief Grey~"
The glowing gate flickered and cut off.
"Impressive," Grey sighed. She was incredibly intelligent. She wanted to send a ssage across the void, and she actually did so with her Assistance Device.
The Assistance Device was normally used to trigger mana particles, which were then sent to the HexCore to compute and process. The initiation of this transmission ant she had reverse-engineered a complex magic spell inside the information layer. She made a custom design herself to trigger the mana particles and use the HexCore to beam the ssage across realities.
In other words, she had single-handedly created a spell capable of transcending the very concepts of dinsions and universes. She was effectively a being that could facilitate communication across the endless reality.
"You are so full of surprises, Jasmine." Grey let out a soft chuckle. "But that is expected of a Future One."
She was one of the very few beings that could comprehend the [Myriad Law of Chaos] due to her Future One physique. The imnse fate she possessed was not simple. With such an overwhelming fate, he still wondered why she was so attracted to him.
Jasmine had made it quite clear that she liked him. He did not know if it was a playful joke or not, but he did not dislike her company in the least. She was courageous, brave, and most importantly, intelligent. Those were good qualities to have.
Soon, he contacted Alan to discuss the logistics.
"It can be arranged, Grey. I do possess a reality ship," Alan said, standing in a brightly lit tallic corridor. "However, the main issue is the fuel." He paused, his expression turning serious. "To travel through the chaotic void outside, you need a special kind of power."
"And what is that power?"
"It is the direct opposite of destruction. We need Origin Power."
"Origin Power? Like the energy from the Origin Will of the universe?" Grey asked, furrowing his brow. "How can that be?"
"Is that not why we fight the abyssal beings in the first place? They steal our world’s Origin Power." He was genuinely confused.
"Well, it works like this," Alan explained. "The Origin Wills and dinsional travelers form mutual contracts. The will gives the traveler a small share of Origin Power to use. A reality ship can run smoothly across vast distances for years on just a tiny amount of Origin Power."
"Oh." Grey nodded in understanding.
"But I have not refueled in years, and the one universe I had a contract with got destroyed. So now, I do not have any reliable sources."
"You want to speak with the Origin Will?" Grey deduced.
[Hell no.] The Origin Will’s firm denial echoed in his mind in an instant.
’Hey, do not be so fast to deny . Cannot we talk this out like normal, civilized people?’ Grey asked telepathically.
[Whenever I speak terms with you, you just end up hurting .] The Origin Will’s sad, echoing voice ca through the ntal link. [You are a brute.]
’Hey...’ Grey’s lips twitched. ’What do you want in return? Please, you are such a sweet Origin Will. Will you not give so Origin Power?’
[Leave this universe and never return. Hmph.] The Origin Will voiced her annoyance, sounding like a pouting child. [But... uh... I can consider helping you if you bring a chaos treasure back from your expedition. And if you dare to not co back, then I will curse you all day and all night.]
Grey’s lips twitched again. One second she told him to leave and never co back, and then a few seconds later, he was ordered to return or else she would curse him. The Origin Will was acting just like an angry teenager who did not know how to express herself properly, coming off as rude and contradictory. He knew a specific term related to this personality type, but he had forgotten it. Tsundere, perhaps?
"Okay, then it is a done deal?" Grey asked out loud.
[Hmph. I better get that chaos treasure.]
’Tell what a chaos treasure is first,’ Grey replied.
[Ask that Alan Benson guy over there. Do not disturb anymore.] The Origin Will stated in a very haughty tone before cutting the connection.
Grey sighed and turned his attention back to Alan.
"What is a chaos treasure?"
"Chaos Treasures," Alan began, "are precious materials naturally born within the destructive flow of chaos outside the universes. They are extrely rare, but even a low-tier one can be imnsely beneficial for a universe’s overall growth."
"Oh." Grey nodded, understanding the stakes. "Then, make the necessary arrangents. The Origin Will has allowed us the use of her Origin Power."
Alan imdiately left to make the chanical preparations for the ship.
As for Grey, he planned to keep himself busy while they prepared for the dinsional travel. He needed a quiet place to sit down and rge the core concept of the primordial spirit with his upcoming sixth-rank advancent.
