Chapter 607: Chapter 335: All Paths in Mourning (Part 4)

Qin Ming walked over, briefly comforted him, and then his body went stiff.

He heard a familiar sobbing sound from afar.

Qin Ming rushed over quickly, seeing a hunched, almost crawling old figure, covered entirely in blood.

Yu Gen Sheng was covered in wounds, many gashes nearly tearing him apart, trembling as he held a severed leg, tears streaming down his face.

“Elder, is this…” Qin Ming’s body turned cold, harboring a bad suspicion.

“It’s… Mr. Zhao!” Yu Gen Sheng responded.

Zhao Ziyan was left with only one leg, and his other body parts had completely blown apart.

Qin Ming was thunderstruck; during his ti at Kunleng, he was cared for and sheltered by two elders, bearing great kindness, and one of them had fallen in such a battle.

Despite his previous bad premonition, the reality was hard to accept when it confronted him directly.

“Old Jin is gone too…” Yu Gen Sheng’s other hand held a half-severed palm, shockingly the only remaining flesh of the Five Elents Palace Elder, Jin Yuan.

Qin Ming was struck once more; he had returned from the desert together with Jin Yuan, receiving his guidance and surviving calamities together. Furthermore, when he was stationed at Qingfeng Town, Jin Yuan had, along with Yu Gen Sheng, helped eliminate the grandmasters on the opposite side to prevent any harm from befalling him.

As a result, this Old Grandmaster had perished in battle!

Bad news kept coming, cries echoing across the Western Territory.

It was now confird that the Ancestor Master of the Yin Yang Temple, Jiang Zhiyuan, had perished in battle.

Lu Yu, the Six Imperial Ancestor, though nearly achieving Nirvana, did not complete it, encountering severe issues in this great battle, his life or death uncertain.

A gloomy and dreary cloud lood over Newborn Road, apart from those already confird, so Ancestor Masters were still missing, their fate unknown.

Over on Immortal Road, cries filled the air as well, nurous Ancestor Masters had fallen in battle.

For instance, the Ancestor Master of Immortal Soil, Wu Zhao Ye, still relatively young and radical, had so acquaintance with Cao Qianqiu, yet his bones vanished without trace in this battle.

Even Yu Shaohua of Yang Soil, a female Ancestor Master known for her gentleness and good relations with all paths, shared a deep friendship with Lu Yu, also perished in battle.

Previously, on the Desert Immortal Tomb battlefield, the Ancestor Masters had used mirages to confuse their opponents. She had “fallen”, as if foreshadowing the end, and today, she truly passed away.

Even the powerful Sun Taichu was in a half-crippled state, requiring seclusion for healing.

Currently, the exact number of Ancestor Masters who died on Immortal Road remains unknown and undisclosed.

The Esoteric Buddhism suffered considerable losses too, with many Divine Seeds, Great Grandmasters, and Ancestor Masters falling.

As the battlefield was cleaned, remnants of so celebrities were unearthed, mournful cries filled the entire Western Territory.

However, there were surprises; so severely injured cultivators were discovered alive among the heaps of corpses, such as Helian Yaoqing, Tang Xumi, and others.

So even clawed their way out themselves, like Tang Jin, covered in blood, having been attacked by nurous old demons. Her Exotic Treasure—the pale-golden grass rope, had turned crimson.

“Master Uncle!” ng Xinghai wept bitterly, bidding farewell to the Old Ancestor Master of the Esoteric Buddhism.

On that day, Newborn Road, Immortal Road, Esoteric Buddhism… all paths were draped in mourning white.

“Brother Ming…” Xiao Wu ca over, eyes red, to bid farewell to Zhao Ziyan with Qin Ming. He too was covered in wounds, having endured many life-and-death battles.

Undoubtedly, in his battle with demons, he was forced to unseal himself, directly breaking through to the Third Realm, otherwise he wouldn’t have survived.

“Elder Zhao!” The two of them mourned.

“Elder Jin Yuan!”

On this day, Qin Ming’s eyes were red and sowhat numb because he had mourned too many people.

In such large-scale conflicts, human life was as worthless as weeds.

The next day, the Demon high-levels t with those of Ye State.

News ca out that the Demon Clan is likely to compromise, eventually abandoning this vast plain.

However, they wouldn’t give it up directly; many conditions and details were to be negotiated.

Ye State’s side was very tough, so Ancestor Masters with bloodshot eyes, ready to wage another bloody battle at any disagreent.

The Demon Clan held in rage and grievance as their losses were also massive.

“Then let’s fight again!”

“Who are you threatening? Bring it on!”

“Fine!”

“Forget it, if our two civilizations fight to the death, it would ultimately benefit others.” At the last mont, the Demon’s high-levels restrained themselves.

Ye State, backed by the formidable Yujing, intimidated various civilizations in the dark. Their Demon clan did not possess such an extrely dangerous “heritage” to themselves or others.

Evidently, the Demon’s side was reluctant, an old demon said, “Our top power has already been fully contested, why not let those below freely challenge each other? They can avoid the fight or selectively participate, not forced, how about that?”

“Agreed!” A Ye State Ancestor Master nodded without hesitation.

On the sa day, this news leaked out.

Instantly, so individuals from both camps had bloodshot eyes, ready to issue challenges.

Even Qin Ming felt unaccountably restless, starting to sharpen his blade, knowing he was likely to step onto the battlefield.

The next day, a remarkable group of Heavenly Demon Species from the Demon Clan, including the fad Jade Emperor, Heavenly Phoenix, appeared.

“Jiang Ran, Pei Shuyan, co out, I challenge you, and Qin Ming, co out and et your death!” Jade Emperor shouted through soone.

He already knew that his younger brother, Huang Fei, died by Qin Ming’s hand.

“Go back, it’s not finally negotiated yet, why stir trouble!” An old demon reprimanded but with a pleased look, showing that the younger generation’s fighting spirit remained high.

“Old insect, do you want to tear up the family records?” Wu Yaizu was accompanying Qin Ming and ran out the mont he heard the call.
