Although Hirano Yuuhi’s abilities are decent, she pales in comparison to soone like Watanabe Gou. Yandeta Chiyoda is very satisfied with the latter’s level, a decisive person.
With his help in dealing with Chu Xi and Takagi Reina, the odds are greatly in her favor.
Of course, selling out Hirano Yuuhi was due to tonight’s situation. Yandeta Chiyoda understands that only by aiding Watanabe Gou, who is entangled with the Half Ghost, can she extract more crucial information from him.

A light footstep echoed, Yandeta Chiyoda turned her head. Watanabe Gou had sought her out; he naturally sat beside her, once again conveying his gratitude.
"Senior Sister Yuanda, this ti it’s all thanks to you. Watanabe is extrely grateful."
Watanabe Gou displayed great respect in front of Yandeta Chiyoda, partly due to gratitude for saving his life, and partly for acknowledging her strength, wishing to collaborate with her.
anwhile, Watanabe Gou voiced the most baffling question in his heart: "Senior Sister Yuanda, I just went to carriage No. 2 but didn’t see Xiao Lin Zhengyan or Yamamoto Chunai, those two bastards. I searched all through the front carriages, but they were nowhere to be seen. They’ve vanished!"
"Vanished?" Yandeta Chiyoda pretended to be puzzled while knowing the two had preemptively fled. She wouldn’t admit it, or else she would be guilty of withholding information.
She took the initiative to stand up, searching through all six carriages with Watanabe Gou, only to have no results.
"I think they must have escaped while we were off guard, fled before the train entered Youjian Mountain Tunnel." Yandeta Chiyoda analyzed earnestly, as the train gradually slowed with a station appearing ahead.
It was Shirahata Station, also the station where the missing Sasaki Sakura thought she disembarked.
Yandeta Chiyoda and Watanabe Gou alighted at this station. As per rules, they should have taken photos, but Yandeta Chiyoda’s group’s phone was with Hirano Yuuhi, who had taken it, leaving Watanabe Gou to hastily snap two photos of the train and station.
Afterwards, the two found a secluded spot at the station to review the night’s encounters.
From the perspective of Watanabe Gou as the one selected by the Ghost, to Yandeta Chiyoda’s observant third-party view, they quickly pieced together most of the task information for the night.
Essentially, the task on the Ghost Train tonight was a ga of hot potato, only the ’potato’ was a Ghost.
Once the task began, the person holding the Ghost Train Ticket would be automatically chosen by the Ghost, the Half Ghost clinging to their back. This person needed to identify ’their own’ hidden among the ’passengers’ within a set ti and hand over the ticket.
The consequence of handing it wrongly was unknown but certainly terrifying, either the wrongly chosen passenger would be killed by the Ghost on the spot, or so form of harm chanism by the Half Ghost would be triggered.
There’s even a possibility of the hot potato ga ending prematurely, leaving the person unable to select and pass the ticket before the train halts at Youjian Mountain Station, and they must disembark to face death.
From tonight’s experience, the task ti seed fairly generous; although they didn’t calculate the exact duration, it certainly exceeded the six minutes of train travel through the Mountain Tunnel by a long stretch.
Watanabe Gou also shared his experiences as a ’Ghost,’ greatly enriching Yandeta Chiyoda’s understanding of this death ga — invaluable experiences.
As the conversation drew to a close, Watanabe Gou suddenly shifted the focus, curiously asking Yandeta Chiyoda, "Senior Sister Yuanda, could you tell which one you were in carriage No. 5? Honestly, your disguise was impeccable, I didn’t notice anything odd."
"It was the woman in the windbreaker, sitting by the door." Yandeta Chiyoda calmly explained.
Almost instantly, Watanabe Gou’s mind conjured up a figure, "It was her!"
He had stood beside the woman, observing for a full ten seconds without detecting anything amiss, eventually giving up.
"Senior Sister Yuanda, you’re amazing, truly an expert!" Watanabe Gou, rare for him, praised earnestly, with growing resolve to cooperate with her, believing they had a great chance to break through together.
Of course, cooperation is cooperation, but simultaneously he warned himself repeatedly to guard against this older woman.
She was cunning and capable, decisive and calculated, able to discard teammates sharing a room without hesitation, such ruthlessness secretly horrified him.
If she could betray Hirano Yuuhi, she could certainly betray him for sufficient benefits.
Yandeta Chiyoda inwardly sneered at his words, knowing precisely what he was thinking. But she wasn’t concerned, understanding it’s unrealistic to entirely win over Watanabe Gou with just a few words or extending a hand once. Pursuing cooperation, she also guarded against him.
Earlier, she intentionally withheld certain key information, like the ability to switch passenger identities not entirely matching one’s own, for instance, she was a woman, yet the swapped passenger identity this ti was a man.
Frankly speaking, she scored a good deal this ti. Neither Watanabe Gou nor Hirano Yuuhi imagined even genders could disguise and change.
This is crucial information she’d withhold, telling no one. At pivotal monts, it might prove significantly useful.
Of course, this information has a ti limit. That is to say, if teammates board the Ghost Train at night again, it might be discovered.

Watanabe Gou, having interacted with so Apostle Family mbers in the real world, himself being a competent Apostle, naturally understood what so-called overseas missions entail.
What else could they be doing if not killing, causing havoc, or conducting espionage, defection, or intelligence gathering, certainly nothing good.
Once such people are caught, the results are never pleasant; this holds across all countries and powers.
Though Watanabe Gou is from Japan too, the slain were his compatriots, yet he refrained from picking sides.
Yandeta Chiyoda was overly radical, blindly blaming others without reason. Taking a step back, Chu Xi wasn’t the killer.
"Damn those Huazhu Clan Apostles, Senior Sister Yuanda, we must avenge this!"
Yet in front of Yandeta Chiyoda, Watanabe Gou put on a different show, eyebrows raised, feigning anger, as he needed her partnership.
His current plan was to stabilize her, exploit her, then sever ties once they leave this ghostly place.
The grudge between Yandeta Chiyoda’s family and the Huazhu Clan Apostles was irrelevant to Watanabe Gou, who cared about survival, not vendettas.
