His mind growing increasingly muddled, Yang Xiao seed to return to the Jile Palace once again. The music started up, the Dancing Girl coming forward, stepping through the water, her feet reflecting the crescent moon in the accumulated water.
The Venerable Jile, worried about Yang Xiao’s counterattack before collapsing, was not in a hurry to attack. Thus, the two sides simply exhausted each other.
Suddenly, Yang Xiao struggled to lift his arm, and the next second, a lantern appeared in his hand. As the lantern’s eerie green light spread, a twisted female corpse appeared behind Yang Xiao. The woman lay on his back, her head resting on Yang Xiao’s left shoulder, her long hair spread out, covering her face, the blurry face whispering incessantly into his ear as if pouring sothing into Yang Xiao.
However, as the green light shot out, the woman, like a rat seeing a cat, pulled back her neck, only daring to curl up behind Yang Xiao, not daring to show her face again.
Having regained his senses, Yang Xiao quickly recognized his current situation. He was being parasitized by a female ghost, and the Ghost Lantern was not enough to drive her away; it could only suppress her temporarily, aning if he wanted to survive, he had to kill Venerable Jile quickly!
As Yang Xiao looked up, Venerable Jile suddenly had a bad premonition and no longer cared about dignity, shouting to Elder Xiumu, "Elder Xiumu, help quickly kill this man!"

But he missed, and Yang Xiao did not. The Human Bone Staff targeted the old man’s lower back and viciously stabbed it. Then, as the two passed by each other, a kitchen knife sliced across, cutting the old fellow’s throat.
Elder Xiumu kneeled on the ground, the wooden hamr falling powerlessly from his hands. Both hands tightly pressed against his neck, but ultimately, he couldn’t stop the massive wound from bleeding. Blood spurted out of his mouth, as if he wanted to say sothing more, but then, Yang Xiao kicked him down.
He was dead.
The white-bearded man soaked in blood, an elder from the Five Poison Temple and one of the eighteen Peak Masters, lay there, ending his life in a very disgraceful way.
"Well done!" Yang Xiao looked towards Lu Chenzhou not far away, unable to help but admire.
His sneak attack was successful, largely due to Lu Chenzhou’s help—who, at the critical mont, broke the old man’s foot. If not for that, even if he could have killed the man, he would likely have been injured by his last counterattack. Given his current condition, any serious injury would be almost tantamount to death.
"Next... it’s your turn." Yang Xiao again took out the Ghost Lantern. He needed to first suppress the female ghost with the Ghost Lantern, dispel the chill from his body, otherwise he was struggling even to move, let alone fight.
