They followed him into the Mirror World!
An unprecedented fear swept through his entire body. The Mirror World had always been Yang Xiao’s safehouse when facing enemies, but this was the first ti it had been invaded, even though the invader was a ghost.
No, to be exact, this was the second ti. The last ti it was the Daoist robe old ghost. But that ti was different; he had recklessly entered the world behind the gray mist.
The sound of chopping was very close, more real than any threat. Yang Xiao almost didn’t hesitate. He did a carp flip to get up and imdiately tried to use the ability of the Soul-Capturing Mirror to return to his real apartnt room, but the ability failed. The Soul-Capturing Mirror made him feel cold.
Without ti to think about the reason, Yang Xiao jumped out of bed, turned around, and dashed toward the door. Opening it, he sprinted down the hallway, while a series of footsteps imdiately followed from behind, just like the sounds from the ceiling not long before.

The footsteps behind him were not fast; Yang Xiao could run three steps by the ti the footsteps took one, but their speed wasn’t slow. The distance between them was closing bit by bit. At this rate, in at most 10 seconds, Yang Xiao would be caught.
Unable to shake them off in a straight run, Yang Xiao dashed into the stairwell and, at the corner, saw a shadow on the wall behind him in his peripheral vision. The shadow’s lower half was solid, while the upper half was misty and swirling. But in the blurry hand, a brawny, rectangular dark shadow was tightly held—it was easy to imagine it as the big saber used for chopping bones.
A ghost wielding a bone-cutting knife was relentlessly pursuing him from behind. Yang Xiao had thought about fighting it, even if just to delay the ghost’s movents, but his instincts told him this ghost was completely different from the one he’d encountered before. This creature was outrageously strong; if he dared to stop, being caught would an death.
Simultaneously, Yang Xiao slled a strong stench coming from behind, as if a sewage pipe had burst—it was similar to the sll he had encountered before in the garden outside the apartnt, carried along with the fog.
This creature was the source of the supernatural incidents!
Now that it had set its sights on him, shaking off a ghost was as hard as reaching the sky. Desperate, Yang Xiao’s mind raced. He had no choice but to divert the ghost’s target—a scapegoat was needed, and naturally, the closer the better—the guy in room 4029!
The footsteps behind him should only be heard by the one targeted by the ghost, which gave Yang Xiao the opportunity to divert the disaster eastward.
Yang Xiao burst out of the stairwell and sprinted along the hallway. But after rounding a corner, a figure suddenly appeared up ahead. The mont he saw the figure, Yang Xiao was stunned—it was himself!

After just a few days, its limbs had grown out, and its legs had returned to normal. Though its complexion was a bit pale, the chilling aura bursting from its eyes was terrifying.
Just by making eye contact, Yang Xiao confird that this creature had co for revenge today—to avenge the last beating with a stick and a horsetail whisk.
But then, the Mirror Ghost’s expression changed. It looked directly behind Yang Xiao. The next second, it seed to see sothing incredible. It involuntarily took a step back, turned, and ran. Yang Xiao felt like he had seen a lifesaver. Chasing after it, he shouted, "Don’t run, bro, wait for !"
The ghost chased Yang Xiao with a large saber, while Yang Xiao chased the Mirror Ghost holding a lantern, and the Mirror Ghost, leading with a stick, made the scene chaotic. Driven by the desire to survive, Yang Xiao burst forth with incredible speed, and at one point even almost caught up with the Mirror Ghost.
Following the principle of not having to outrun the ghost but just my teammate, Yang Xiao pulled out a Human Bone Staff and aid for the back of the Mirror Ghost’s head with a fierce strike. A strange fluctuation emitted, hitting the target. The Mirror Ghost stiffened and fell straight to the ground.
Feeling that under the suppression of the Big Saber Ghost, the Mirror Ghost’s abilities were also greatly weakened, it could not have been so vulnerable otherwise.

It was the Mirror Ghost; it had drawn away the Knife Ghost!
Taking out the Soul-Capturing Mirror and exerting a bit of force, Yang Xiao returned to his real apartnt. The restriction was lifted, and he could again use the abilities of the Soul-Capturing Mirror.
Leaning against the wall, Yang Xiao panted heavily, but the excitent in his eyes was unmistakable; it was like he had discovered a new continent.
Ghosts seed to attract ghosts more than humans did. He realized the new use for the Mirror Ghost. The next ti he was targeted by a ghost, he would bring it to the Mirror World to find the Mirror Ghost.
After all, this was the world of the Knife Ghost. In theory, the Source Ghost was the origin sustaining this Nightmare World, and the strongest presence. The Mirror Ghost was no match. Yang Xiao boldly reasoned that if the Knife Ghost could help him eliminate the Mirror Ghost, that would be best, or even wounding the Mirror Ghost would be acceptable—he could take advantage of the situation and attack rcilessly, eliminating this major worry once and for all.
