Jade Pot Cave Level One!

Boom!

A powerful surge of energy swept through, followed by a graceful figure being thrown backward. Once her features ca into view, she appeared sowhat familiar; it turned out to be Tan Yun, who was quite close to Yun Xiao.

Tan Yun’s expression was rather grim, as she had just found a Heavenly Material and Earthly Treasure, and had managed to kill a Second Rank Vein Demon, ready to claim her hard-earned prize. However, unexpectedly soone stepped in and snatched it away at the last mont.

As Tan Yun looked up furiously, she saw two familiar figures standing ahead; it was actually the Cao Family brothers, Cao Ju and Cao Jun.

Tan Yun was no stranger to these two, and with her strength at the Late Stage of ridian Introduction Realm, even if Cao Ju had lost one of his hands, she was no match for him, let alone when paired with Cao Jun, whose strength was not inferior to hers.

Thus, Tan Yun had to swallow her pride and her blood; she did not even think about taking back her dicinal herb. After all, Jade Pot Cave was a place where life and death were not forbidden; one careless move could cost her life here.

Decisively, Tan Yun bit down on her teeth and was about to flee, but just as she took a few steps, a figure blocked her way, it was none other than Cao Jun from the Cao Family.

"Hehe, Tan Yun, who would have thought we’d run into each other like this?"

Cao Jun had a smug, cat-playing-with-a-mouse smile on his face, and his words carried an additional aning. Honestly, the troubles they encountered because of Yun Xiao began with this very squad, or rather, this squad’s leader, Tan Yun.

"Cao Jun, I don’t want the dicinal herb anymore, what else do you want?" Tan Yun was sowhat panic-stricken; entangled by these two despicable people, it would beco extrely difficult for her to escape.

"What do we want? Naturally, it’s ti to avenge my severed hand!" As soon as Tan Yun finished speaking, a resentful voice chid from behind her, it was Cao Ju.

In fact, Cao Ju’s hand was destroyed by Yun Xiao, but now, even if he were braver, he wouldn’t dare to trouble Yun Xiao, so he could only redirect his anger at Tan Yun.

Cao Ju believed that, given the vastness of Jade Pot Cave, the chances of encountering Yun Xiao were slim. Yet, as if favored by fate, Tan Yun was delivered right before him, an opportunity that ca effortlessly.

Fueled by his grudge over his severed hand, Cao Ju had no patience for idle talk with Tan Yun. As soon as he finished speaking, he blasted a palm strike aid directly at the vital spot on Tan Yun’s back—it was a lethal move from the start.

Sensing the powerful surge from behind, Tan Yun was furious but had no choice but to dodge. Just as she narrowly avoided Cao Ju’s palm strike, another hand seed to have been waiting for her at that spot, striking hard at her abdon, causing her so much pain she bent over.

It turned out that the Cao brothers not only intended to overpower her due to their nurical advantage, but also chose to fight dirty in such monts without any regard for their reputation, simply seeking vengeance for the severed hand.

A combined attack from the brothers inflicted serious internal injuries on Tan Yun. The Cao Family brothers were thoroughly pleased with themselves, showing no rcy and instead approaching Tan Yun step by step with a ferocious smile.

Perhaps in the minds of the brothers, since they did not dare to confront Yun Xiao, killing Tan Yun might also serve as revenge for the severed hand.

Whoosh!

Just as Tan Yun was about to gather her remaining ridian Qi and fight desperately, a whooshing sound suddenly ca from behind her. She then felt a gust of wind brushing past her side, decisively hitting a detestable person.

Bang!

With only his Late Stage ridian Qi Cultivation, Cao Jun hadn’t expected an upset under such advantageous circumstances.

Indeed, Cao Jun had never imagined that within Jade Pot Cave, apart from Yun Xiao, soone else would dare interfere with the Cao Family brother’s affairs. But the unexpected happened nonetheless.

Thinking of that possibility, whether it was Cao Jun, thrown backward, or Cao Ju who was about to strike, their faces turned pale. As their gazes shifted to the figure retracting his right leg next to Tan Yun, a chill ran up their spines, making their legs wobble.

"Yun Xiao!"

The na was squeezed out between Cao Ju’s clenched teeth, because for him, it was a na he had muttered countless tis in secret. Yet when he saw Yun Xiao again, possibly without realizing it himself, his voice trembled slightly.

Crack!

However, just as Cao Ju felt a sense of fear rising, a light snapping sound ca from behind him. Then, he saw Yun Xiao and Tan Yun’s gazes becoming exceedingly strange, as if they found sothing incredibly unbelievable.

"Brother!"

As Cao Ju turned his head, he spotted a sowhat eerie figure, and a voice of misery escaped his lips. He imdiately disregarded Yun Xiao and Tan Yun, rushing straight to his younger brother.

At this mont, Cao Jun looked strange because his whole body was lying flat on the ground, but there was a sharp spike piercing through his chest, clearly having penetrated his heart.

The reason Yun Xiao looked so bewildered was that, despite his powerful kick, he knew it couldn’t have taken the life of Cao Jun, a cultivator at the ridian Introduction Realm Late Stage.

Little did he know, Cao Jun was incredibly unlucky. Unable to control his body after the heavy blow, he was impaled through the heart by a spike that shot up from the ground, obviously dood to die.

"Hmm?"

However, in the next mont, Yun Xiao realized he was wrong. His powerful Power of Soul shockingly discovered that the spike impaling Cao Jun’s chest wasn’t a stone spike from Jade Pot Cave, but rather a section of a mighty Vein Demon’s body.

Cao Ju, who had just hurried over, had obviously noticed this too. Thus, his figure abruptly stopped, and then he saw his younger brother’s body, without any wind, slowly rise from the ground.

Splash!

Yun Xiao and Tan Yun suddenly heard the sound of the ground breaking, and then from the place where Cao Jun was impaled, rocks continuously surged up, and a huge creature thunderously burrowed out from beneath the earth, its several feet long spike still impaling Cao Jun’s body.

"Tsk tsk, it’s just a Second Rank Middle Level Monohorn Stone Rhinoceros, what a coincidence!"

With Yun Xiao’s keen eyesight, he recognized the massive creature at a glance. However, his expression grew even stranger. Cao Jun, after all, was a genius in the ridian Introduction Realm Late Stage, yet he died by the hand of a re Second Rank Middle Level Vein Demon, a truly sorrowful and lantable fate.

In fact, had Cao Jun not been temporarily incapacitated by Yun Xiao’s kick, with the toughest and sharpest horn of the Monohorn Stone Rhinoceros practically camouflaged on the surface of the ground, Cao Jun wouldn’t have considered such a Vein Demon worth noting with his strength.

Sadly, due to a series of unfortunate mistakes, this third young master of the Cao Family, who strutted around Luoxing City, died such a frustrating death under the spike of the Monohorn Stone Rhinoceros, ending his life in what could be called a "full circle".

"Yun Xiao, you killed my younger brother, my Cao Family will never let this go until death!"

Fortunately, Cao Ju, the second son of the Cao Family, hadn’t lost his senses to anger. As soon as he saw the Monohorn Stone Rhinoceros, he ca back to his senses, and his roaring voice was filled with extre spite.

Cao Ju wouldn’t believe that his younger brother died at the hands of the Monohorn Stone Rhinoceros. The instigator behind it all was Yun Xiao, and in this mont, he apparently forgot that initially, it was because his brothers had forcefully taken Tan Yun’s herbs which led to Yun Xiao’s attack.

People like the Cao brothers, who never reflect on their own faults — now having one brother dead because of Yun Xiao and another with his right hand burned, their state of one dead and one crippled was likely the best venting for Cao Ju’s vow of "not resting until death".

"Eh? Cao Ju, are you blind? Cao Jun clearly died on the horn of that Monohorn Stone Rhinoceros, what does that have to do with ?"

Yun Xiao was in good spirits, not caring at all about Cao Ju’s hateful roar, and even replied with interest. The tone of his voice made even Tan Yun beside him struggle to hold back her laughter.

Of course, at this mont, Tan Yun felt imnsely relieved. Just monts ago, under the oppression of the Cao brothers, she couldn’t even defend herself, but with Yun Xiao’s arrival, a single kick sent Cao Jun to Ghost Gate, which to her felt as refreshing as a gulp of cool water on a scorching day.

Provoked by Yun Xiao’s sarcastic words, what Cao Ju really wanted to do was charge forward and fight this detestable person for three hundred rounds, but fortunately, he retained a shred of rationality, aware of what the consequences of charging in might be, possibly ending up like Cao Jun. He could only look bitterly at the man and woman across from him.

"Sister Tan Yun, let’s not bother this old fellow with his revenge anymore, let’s go!"

To soone like Yun Xiao, he now had no interest at all in such a person, and with these words, Cao Ju almost spat out a mouthful of old blood. This kid’s mouth was really too malicious.

The revenge Yun Xiao spoke of, definitely wasn’t referring to himself, but to the Monohorn Stone Rhinoceros. Yet, was the true enemy of Cao Ju this extrely ugly Vein Demon? Absolutely not.

Watching Cao Ju’s face darken as if it could drip water, Yun Xiao and Tan Yun didn’t bother any further, and simply bypassed this Cao Family genius, striding away.

"Crack!"

As the figures of Yun Xiao and the others disappeared deeper into the cave, Cao Ju suddenly heard a strange noise. When he turned his head back, his eyes nearly popped out.

Just as Cao Ju was distracted, the Monohorn Stone Rhinoceros had actually opened its huge mouth and bitten off Cao Jun’s legs, swallowing them into its stomach. As they say, brothers feel each other’s pain, and at this mont, Cao Ju finally exploded.

"Despicable beast, die!"

While just monts ago Cao Ju couldn’t muster the courage to confront Yun Xiao, facing this Monohorn Stone Rhinoceros, he was extrely ferocious. Unfortunately, this Vein Demon, having properly slept here undisturbed, did not expect such a calamity to fly towards it, likely even risking its life.
