Now reading: Chapter 229: The Blood-Red Cave from Nine Nether Heavenly Emperor, a Eastern novel by Awesome.

At this mont, the Blood Sword’s blood-colored fla appeared exceptionally eerie and unparalleled. Following that, Shi Feng and the Blood Sword rged into a beam of blood-colored light, slashing downward at an angle.

The fierce storm dissipated instantly under the swift blood-colored light, and in the blink of an eye, the light too vanished. When Shi Feng’s figure appeared once again, he was already behind Lingg Hao, wielding the Blood Sword.

"How can this be!" Lingg Hao’s face was filled with disbelief and unwillingness. He was a Martial Artist of the Three-star Martial Ancestor Realm, a genius disciple of the Floating Void Sect; yet, he had t his defeat so easily!

With a hiss, like the sound of fabric tearing, Lingg Hao’s body split from the top down, starting from the face that was filled with disbelief, and cleaved apart on both sides. Fresh red blood sprayed out, all of it gushing ferociously towards Shi Feng, and Lingg Hao’s body soon beca a desiccated corpse, wrinkled and shriveled.

Having devoured the Power of Death and blood of a Three-star Martial Ancestor, a flash of white light enveloped Shi Feng. Originally burning his Lifebound Essence Fire and having fallen to the Realm of a Four-star Martial Sovereign, he now ascended once more, and not just that, the imnse energy of the Three-star Martial Ancestor also supplied half of the energy required for his rise from Five-star to Six-star.

If the Sacred Fla had not self-ignited the Lifebound Essence Fire, perhaps Shi Feng could have already advanced to the Six-star Martial Emperor Realm. However, facing Lingg Hao of the Three-star Martial Ancestor Realm, to kill Lingg Hao, Shi Feng had to burn his Lifebound Essence Fire and unleash the power for a fatal blow.

Lingg Hao’s strength was almost equivalent to that of the demonized Long Ao from that day. The reason Shi Feng had been able to slay Long Ao was due to the use of the Formation of Ten Thousand Corpses and, in the end, by burning his Lifebound Essence Fire to cripple Long Ao.

Shi Feng had won. His tall figure stood proud on the battlefield, holding the Blood Sword, his long hair whipping wildly in the frantic wind. Hong Yue and Little Moli stared blankly at the figure amidst the ravaged battlefield, with Hong Yue softly murmuring, "Did we win?"

"Sister, we won, he won! He’s so strong!" Little Moli eagerly told Hong Yue. During the battle between Shi Feng and Lingg Hao, they had felt the ferocious and powerful energies, which, if it had touched them, might have spelled instant life or death.

"Yes, we won!" Hong Yue continued to gaze unwaveringly at that figure.

Shi Feng looked up at the sky; alas, the last Martial Artist in the Realm of Martial King, upon seeing Lingg Hao battling him, had hidden far above. Upon witnessing Lingg Hao’s demise, the man had already fled far away, disappearing without a trace.

"Forget it, just an ant. If he ran away, so be it." After refocusing his gaze, Shi Feng turned back to the two won.

"Ah! It’s actually him!"

"Sister, how could it be him!" Seeing Shi Feng’s visage, both Hong Yue and Little Moli exclaid in shock. Hong Yue had felt this young man was mysterious when he was on his way to the Heavenly Mist Empire, so he left a deep impression on her.

"Didn’t he disfigure his face? How co there isn’t a scar to be seen?" Little Moli whispered to Hong Yue as she examined Shi Feng’s appearance.

Shi Feng put away the Bloodthirsty Sword into his storage ring and walked slowly toward the two won, smiling and saying, "Thank you for taking care of along the way." These words from Shi Feng were sincerely heartfelt.

"You’re welco, if we hadn’t t you, we might not have survived until now," Hong Yue said.

"Indeed, we’ve been looking out for each other, and we also owe you our lives," Little Moli followed.

"Alright, let’s just say we’re even then. However, it’s too dangerous for you two to be in this space. From now on, follow ; I’ll protect you until we leave this Blood-colored World," Shi Feng said.

"Okay, then we’ll be troubling you," Hong Yue nodded, not refusing because she was very clear about their own strength. Before they encountered Shi Feng, they had t a powerful Blood Beast. If they had been even a little slower, they might already have been torn apart and ended up as food in the beast’s stomach.

"Did you guys ever find that bastard from that night?" Shi Feng asked with a half-smile, looking at the two won. Naturally, the bastard he referred to was Li Liuxin.

As soon as Hong Yue heard Shi Feng’s words, she realized who he ant by the bastard from that night and exclaid in shock, "So, you saw us that night? Our Yin Ghost Sect’s Hidden Technique is peerless across the world, how did you see us?"

Hong Yue quickly realized that this person was unimaginably powerful, soone she could only look up to; it was no wonder he could see through their Hidden Technique. With a bitter smile, she thought to herself that the so-called peerless skill seems nothing more than self-deception of the Yin Ghost Sect when faced with a true powerful adversary.

"That bastard!" Little Moli, upon understanding Shi Feng’s words were about Li Liuxin, clenched her fists and said, "That bastard must have used so Secret Technique. My sister had left a unique mark on him, but he managed to break it. He’s so wicked, we must catch him and beat him!"

After hearing Little Moli’s words, Shi Feng just smiled and didn’t say anything. Indeed, that bastard was quite mysterious. Not only did their unique marks not work on him, but even the markers he had placed during his ti in the Ice Snow Forest had been sohow broken by him.

His gaze surveyed the surroundings; the ruins he was currently in seed to be a collapsed building, but it was unknown what kind of existence once lived here in this Blood-colored World.

"Kid, there’s sothing inside the rock wall ahead," Sacred Fla suddenly spoke up, addressing Shi Feng.

"The rock wall ahead?" Upon hearing Sacred Fla’s words, Shi Feng turned his head to look at the blood-colored rock wall and swiftly rushed forward.

"It’s right ahead!" As Shi Feng approached the blood-colored rock wall, he heard Sacred Fla again, then promptly threw a punch at the wall.

"Boom!" With a loud booming sound, blood-colored debris flew wildly and dust filled the air.

Hong Yue and Little Moli stared blankly ahead, not understanding what was happening. Why was he suddenly venting his anger on a rock wall for no apparent reason?

Once the blood-colored dust began to dissipate, the two won then realized what Shi Feng had been doing. As the dust cleared, Shi Feng’s figure erged, and in front of him, a deep blood-colored cave was revealed.

Shi Feng turned his head and said to the two won, "Co here, let’s go in and take a look together."

"Oh, okay," Little Moli promptly nodded at Shi Feng’s words and walked towards him, while Hong Yue hesitated for a mont before following behind Little Moli.
