As Shi Feng and his two companions continued to delve deeper, they saw more and more murals on the blood-colored rock walls, which also beca clearer and clearer, each one lifelike. So depicted scenes of the Human Clan’s daily life, so showed taming of demon beasts, until from one mural on, there appeared a person holding a long sword, standing proudly in the Void.

Then, one after another, the murals seed to narrate the scenes of that ti. After that person’s arrival, the killing spree began, destruction ensued; buildings crumbled under his rampage, and individuals perished beneath his sword, before their corpses withered into desiccated mummies. Both won found the sword held by that person and the shriveled corpses eerily familiar, their gazes involuntarily shifting towards Shi Feng.

Shi Feng, of course, realized it too. That sword, its very shape, and seeing those desiccated corpses under it, led him to guess that the sword was, indeed, the Bloodthirsty Sword he now possessed.

That person must have been from the Blood Pattern Tribe.

"Who would’ve thought, your Blood Pattern Tribe once invaded this world. Do you recognize the person in these paintings?" Shi Feng asked the Sacred Fla through soul communication.

"I do not recognize him, but since he holds the Sacred Sword, his identity must be extraordinary, likely an heir of the Blood Pattern Tribe from so generation," Sacred Fla responded.

Afterward, Shi Feng saw the man who had previously been worshiped and stood on the Altar appear again, engaging in a fierce battle with the person from the Blood Pattern Tribe. "If he could battle an heir of the Blood Pattern Tribe, his strength must have been extraordinary as well. Could it be that this man created this Blood-colored World?" Shi Feng wondered, then continued looking through the murals. The next few depicted prolonged combat between the two, but then, abruptly, the murals ended. On the ground lay a skeleton that seed on the verge of decay.

It appeared that the owner of this skeleton was the creator of these murals. The work had been left at halfway, for so unknown reason, the artist had suddenly died there. As for who won or lost that battle and what the ending was, the history was left unfinished there.

"He died under the power of the Blood Pattern Tribe," Sacred Fla suddenly declared.

Hearing Sacred Fla’s words, Shi Feng silently nodded in agreent. Since the statent ca from the Blood Pattern Tribe’s Sacred Fla, it was undoubtedly credible.

As to what happened next, who lived and who died, who won and who lost, Shi Feng no longer cared. Since the Blood Pattern Tribe had co to this space wielding the Sacred Sword and fought a formidable battle here, it was only natural that fragnts of the Sacred Sword remained.

Seeing that the two beautiful won were still pondering over the murals, Shi Feng turned and said, "Let’s go."

"Oh!" The won snapped out of their reverie upon hearing Shi Feng’s words, nodded, and continued to follow him deeper into the cave.

At that mont, Little Moli said to her companion Hong Yue, "Sister, no wonder he’s so strong. It turns out he’s inherited the legacy of the person in those paintings."

"Mm," Hong Yue simply nodded, her gaze still fixed on Shi Feng, as if considering sothing deep in thought.

Suddenly, a sound akin to the beating of a heart began to reverberate throughout the cave, "Thump... Thump..."

Following that, another two beats sounded, "Thump... Thump..."

"What is that?" Shi Feng’s brows furrowed tightly, staring down the length of the cave still unknown in its expanse. He sensed that the sound was emanating from the deepest part of the cave. Exactly what lay within was yet to be discovered, perhaps the source of his previous grievous injury, that blood-colored monstrosity of an opponent, or maybe sothing even more formidable than that creature.

Shi Feng halted in his steps, and the two won behind him naturally ca to a stop as well.

"Thump... thump... thump..." The sound continued to echo, resonating with a particularly oppressive tone in the quiet cavern.

"Kid, go take a look," Sacred Fla urged Shi Feng when he saw him pause.

Shi Feng felt hesitant at this mont, debating whether or not to continue forward. Then, turning around to look at the two won behind him, he spoke in an indisputable tone, "You two stay here."

After speaking, Shi Feng turned back and walked towards the direction ahead, when suddenly, the delicate cry of Hong Yue ca from behind: "Wait for !"

Upon hearing Hong Yue’s words, Shi Feng turned around, his brows slightly furrowed, and asked, "Hmm? What’s the matter?"

"Just... be careful," Hong Yue said gently.

"Mhm!" Shi Feng nodded at Hong Yue, then promptly turned around and continued deeper into the cavern.

Hong Yue’s eyes remained fixed on Shi Feng’s retreating black silhouette, watching until it vanished from sight, and once again the space was shrouded in pitch darkness. Then, Little Moli took out a glowing Crystal Stone from her Storage Ring for illumination.

Shi Feng kept delving deeper along the path. The deeper he went, the "thumps" sounded louder and clearer, like heartbeats, becoming increasingly irritating to him.

At that mont, Shi Feng suddenly sensed the Bloodthirsty Sword in his Storage Ring trembling violently. With a flick of his wrist, the sword appeared in his hand, beginning to vibrate faintly.

"There’s a Sacred Sword Fragnt ahead!" Sacred Fla suddenly spoke up from within him at that ti.

"You’re a little too late with the information," Shi Feng muttered under his breath. He didn’t need to be told, seeing the unusual behavior of the Bloodthirsty Sword, he had already guessed that a fragnt must be present.

The Sacred Sword Fragnt! This further solidified Shi Feng’s determination to push on, resolutely penetrating deeper in search of the Sacred Sword Fragnt, which could make the Bloodthirsty Sword more complete. As Sacred Fla had said, restoring the sword to its Peak through blood absorption alone seed almost impossible. Moreover, the blood of powerful beings was of greater use to his current self. At present, the only way was to collect the fragnts of the Sacred Sword.

After delving into the deep cavern for about thirty minutes, Shi Feng finally erged from the cave and entered a vast subterranean plaza.

Within the plaza, Shi Feng saw rows upon rows of densely packed statues, with each one in human form, resembling columns of statuesque warriors, all neatly arranged and standing ramrod straight, and roughly the size of actual humans.

"Thump... thump... thump..." The dull, thudding heartbeat resonated above Shi Feng, prompting him to look up and see, in the center of the hall, a statue levitating in the Void. Embedded in the statue’s heart was a tiny blood-colored object, which was precisely the Sacred Sword Fragnt Shi Feng had been seeking.

The vibrations of the Bloodthirsty Sword grew more intense, and the Sacred Sword Fragnt lodged in the statue’s chest seed to tremble in response, akin to the pull of a magnet, beginning to quiver slightly.
