Wei Fang’s eyes widened, letting out an unwilling bellow, but apart from echoing through the sky, her scream did nothing to stop the inexorable Sword Qi, which savagely struck her.
"Aah!" A sorrowful shriek reverberated through the void once more. With a single blow, the great White Sword Qi vanished, and Wei Fang, along with Du Qi’s corpse, precipitously plumted towards the ground.
But just as they had fallen halfway, a black shadow shot quickly towards them, revealing Shi Feng’s silhouette, positioning himself between Wei Fang and Du Qi’s corpse. Stretching out his left hand, he grabbed Wei Fang’s grey-white straw-like hair. His right hand reached out and seized Du Qi’s face.
