Watching Shi Feng glance at the tiny black droplets that had separated from the Demon God Finger, the Demon Remnant Soul hurriedly sensed trouble and shouted, "Human child, what are you intending to do with that ominous gaze?"
"Precocious boy, you’re not going to cause mischief again, are you?" At that mont, the Sacred Fla inside Shi Feng seed to see what he was about to do and spoke up.
"The Demon God Finger!" Shi Feng’s mouth slowly split into a grin, and then his right index finger pointed forward. Instantly, the suspended black droplets, driven by Shi Feng’s will, rolled toward his index finger.
"Indeed!" the Sacred Fla sighed and said, "That is the evil demon’s finger. You are a Human, is that alright?"
"It doesn’t matter, it’s just a finger. If it’s ruined, then it’s ruined," Shi Feng said dismissively to the Sacred Fla. Even if this finger were ruined, once his physical body power reached the Ninth-stage Emperor Level and achieved the Nine Nether Body, it could easily grow back.
"Human! What are you doing! Stop tampering with my Demon Finger! This is my finger; how is this any different from the actions of a robber! Would the Ancient Saints of the Human Clan not be angered by your actions enough to rise from their coffins?!" Seeing Shi Feng’s movents, the Demon Remnant Soul bellowed fiercely. Now, the only thing his remnant soul resided in was this demon finger; how could he not be agitated by Shi Feng’s actions?
How could Shi Feng possibly pay heed to the words of the Demon Remnant Soul? The rolling black droplets quickly gathered on Shi Feng’s index finger, the black Demon Liquid enveloping his entire index finger.
"ld!" Shi Feng shouted in a low voice, his left hand forming a Handprint that emitted a ghostly white glow. Then he slamd the Handprint down onto the black index finger.
"No!" the Demon Remnant Soul sensed the Mysterious Power emanating from Shi Feng’s Handprint and let out a reluctant roar. Imdiately under this Handprint, the ghostly white light grew even more dazzling and blinding. The black liquid enveloping Shi Feng’s index finger was suddenly absorbed into his skin.
As the ghostly light faded, Shi Feng’s index finger, to the naked eye, appeared almost the sa as before.
With a thought from Shi Feng, suddenly, his index finger looked as if it had been dipped in ink, becoming pitch-black. At the sa ti, a surge of Demonic Qi burst forth from his black finger, making Shi Feng appear as though he were a Demon God incarnate.
"Demon God Finger!" Shi Feng held the black Demon Finger before his eyes, feeling the evil and mysterious, powerful force emanating from it. With one full-strength flick, a streak of black light flashed. Shi Feng then paused, sensing more closely that if he fully activated the power of this Demon Finger, with his current Realm, he should be able to reach the power of a One-star Martial Venerable.
However, Shi Feng’s current physical form was rather unique—it could not be easily classified. He had absorbed the marrow of the Blood Pattern Tribe, his body’s bones were blood-colored, his Dantian now held the Blood Pattern Tribe’s Sacred Fla, he possessed the Corrosive Evil Eye of the Evil Eye Clan, and now he had an additional Demon God Finger.
Shi Feng was unconcerned by these bodily changes. For him, driven by his pursuit of strength, as long as his Battle Power was strong enough, everything was fine!
With another thought, the ink-black color receded from his index finger, and Shi Feng’s finger returned to its original state.
"Ah! You despicable Human Clan, you actually stole my Demon Finger! Ahhhhh!" cried the Demon Remnant Soul, howling at Shi Feng with a chilling voice and a ferocious expression, like a wild beast about to attack, or as if his wife had been violated by Shi Feng.
Hearing the cry of the Demon Remnant Soul, Shi Feng waved his right hand impatiently. The power suppressing the Demon Remnant Soul imdiately carried it away toward the distant dark area of the space with continued cries of "Ahhh!" The voice of the Demon Remnant Soul gradually faded, and in an instant, it and its soul body were completely distant from the area.
Subsequently, Shi Feng willed and nurous densely packed storage rings flew out from the one he wore. Upon leaving the Blood-colored Space, Shi Feng had engaged in two major battles where he slew several supre powerhouses and significant figures of the Heavenly Mist Empire, collecting more loot than ever before in these two events.
Following that, the floating dense storage rings again poured out Primordial Stones like a waterfall. Under Shi Feng’s command, "Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Pop!" Each of the bursting Primordial Stones released pure Primordial Energy that enriched the surroundings, increasingly resembling a sacred cultivation land.
Next, Shi Feng sat cross-legged and began to circulate the Nine Nether Technique, absorbing the pure and rich Primordial Energy of the surroundings like a whale drinking water to cultivate.
As he cultivated, ti slowly passed. Shi Feng sat for an entire day and night, which swiftly passed by, until the Sacred Fla spoke, "Kid, that blood creature has appeared! It’s within my sensing range now!"
Prompted by the Sacred Fla, Shi Feng imdiately snapped out of his cultivation. With a thought, his body flashed with a blood-colored light; he left the space and returned to the inn room in Tianyi Town.
Extending his left hand toward the floating mini Blood-colored Stele, it quickly shot into Shi Feng’s palm and turned into the Blood Monunt Pattern.
Spreading his Soul Power in all directions, Shi Feng asked the Sacred Fla, "Where is it now?"
"It’s to the east, about fifty li from here," the Sacred Fla quickly replied.
Upon hearing the Sacred Fla’s words, Shi Feng moved swiftly, bursting straight up, "Bang" – the roof was imdiately blown open by his forceful exit, sending tiles flying.
Shi Feng didn’t concern himself with the state of the roof. Following the Sacred Fla’s guidance, he broke through the air toward the east. It was already nightfall, and Shi Feng left behind a trail of ghostly white afterimages in the void as he moved. The fifty li were quickly covered.
Having flown approximately fifty li, Shi Feng halted his swift advance. Below him was a dense, wooded mountain forest.
"Is it here?" Shi Feng communicated with the Sacred Fla using his soul.
"Wait!" the Sacred Fla responded, taking a mont to sense, then shouted, "Straight ahead, ten ters below!"
Hearing the Sacred Fla’s shout, Shi Feng hesitated no more, his figure swiftly diving down into the mountain forest below, right to the location the Sacred Fla had indicated, ten ters straight ahead, "I really want to see what the hell it is!"
