"Hmm?" Hearing that voice, Shi Feng’s eyebrows furrowed, and he looked towards a huge stone pillar that would take four or five people to hug nearby. Then, from behind that pillar, a blue shadow slowly erged.
"Yi Xin!" Zi Ya called out the na of the person who appeared from behind the pillar. He was a Snake-man Clan Youth who didn’t appear to be much older, perhaps seventeen or eighteen years old, wearing a loose blue robe with a long blue serpentine tail beneath.
"Princess Zi Ya, I am truly honored that in such joyful tis, you still rember the na of soone as insignificant as , Yi Xin. I am so honored! Hehe!" Yi Xin revealed a self-mocking smile as he spoke.
"Yi Xin, what nonsense are you talking about?" The kind-hearted and gentle Snake-man Clan Girl Zi Ya, now wore a slightly angry expression on her face and spoke in a low voice.
"Hehe, you’re angry? Are you angry, Your Highness the Princess?" Yi Xin continued to laugh mockingly, but then his expression abruptly changed, revealing a ferocious look. Lit by the firelight, he appeared extrely ghastly. "You’re angry! How dare you show anger towards ! Zi Ya, ask yourself, how has Yi Xin treated you over all these years? Ever since I found out you entered the Priest Hall, I’ve been waiting outside day and night, hoping to see you co out. And tonight, I finally saw you. But you! When it cos to pedigree, within the young generation of our Snake-man Race, only I, Yi Xin, am a match for you. Yet, you’ve chosen soone from the Human Clan. Soone who intruded into the Territory of the Snake-man Clan and caused trouble in the Priest Hall, disturbing the peace of our sacred hall and even our entire clan!"
As Yi Xin spoke, his face grew more and more agitated. Although he was the grandson of a priest, he didn’t yet have the right to enter the Priest Hall. Today, he had only seen Shi Feng trespass on the Territory of the Snake-man Clan, defeat Commander Weii Gao, and then be led by the priest into the Priest Hall. From the day to the night, the hall had not known peace, and this had even affected the entire Snake-man Clan Territory. Naturally, he thought all of this was caused by Shi Feng.
"Bitch! Slut! Whore! You’re a slut who likes the Human Clan, willingly a slave to them, with no dignity, no sha! You’re a disgrace to our Snake-man Race!" Yi Xin, overco with emotion, pointed at Zi Ya and shouted angrily.
"Seeking death!" Seeing Yi Xin pointing at Zi Ya and hurling insults, Shi Feng’s face imdiately showed a fearso anger. He swung his right palm fiercely, and at a distance of several ters, Yi Xin’s face flashed with a pale white light. A pale white Handprint appeared, followed by a sharp "smack", and Yi Xin was sent flying by Shi Feng’s slap, landing prone on the ground.
"You! You hit ! You actually dare to hit ! In the territory of the Snake-man Clan, you dare to strike !" Yi Xin, lying on the ground, slowly lifted his face, his gaze fixed venomously on Shi Feng as he spoke through clenched teeth.
He was the only grandson of the Priest of the Snake-man Race, having never been treated this way by anyone since he was a child.
Since his parents died early, his grandmother, Priest Kaley of the Snake-man Race, always doted on him, spoiling him rotten! No one in the Snake-man Race dared to provoke him, and so people even tried to ingratiate themselves with him because of his grandmother. Yet now, he never imagined soone would dare to hit him.
"Ah, Human Clan, I’ll kill you! I want to kill you! You dare hit ! I will make you regret it! You will definitely regret it! You’re going to die a miserable death!" Yi Xin, lying on the ground, looked at Shi Feng with a fierce expression and roared in anger.
"Let finish off this scum!" Shi Feng said calmly, looking to Zi Ya for approval.
"No!" Zi Ya quickly intervened, saying, "He’s the grandson of Priest Lord, and the Priest Lord has only this one grandson. Spare his life! Otherwise, it would be too pitiful for Priest Lord, who has always been really good to since I was a child."
"To think that cunning old hag had such a foolish grandson! How sad." Shi Feng said disdainfully, looking at Yi Xin who was howling like a mad dog.
Yi Xin’s howling imdiately attracted many of the Snake-man Race in the vicinity. When they saw Yi Xin lying on the ground, dirty and disheveled like a mad dog, and then saw Zi Ya and Shi Feng standing before him, they knew that Yi Xin, the grandson of the Priest of the Snake-man Race, had been beaten!
"Is this man from the Human Clan trying to vie for Princess Zi Ya and beat up Yi Xin in the process?"
"But from the looks of this scene, it’s quite clear that Princess Zi Ya is standing together with that man from the Human Clan. I reckon it was Yi Xin who was asking for it. "Yi Xin has always been arrogant in our territory, thinking that since he is the grandson of Priest Lord, everyone should give way to him. Such a foolish person deserves to be beaten!"
"Indeed, Yi Xin is notorious in our Snake-man Race for being foolish, but I didn’t expect him to be foolish to this extent. He should have seen in daylight that this man from the Human Clan displayed great strength, defeating Commander Weii Gao, and his grandmother, Lord Kaley herself, greeted this man from the Human Clan in person, addressing him as an honored guest.
