Staring at the towering green columns of water surrounding them, the perverse Ning Cheng let out a sinister "heh" chuckle!
"Did you do this on purpose?" Shi Feng stared at the twisted Ning Cheng as murderous intent surfaced again, and the Full Moon Scimitar appeared once more in his hand.
"How... How could that be, junior brother? Quickly put away the scimitar, don’t hurt your senior brother’s frail body! I’m trapped here too. A single careless move might kill too!"
Seeing Shi Feng pulling out the Full Moon Scimitar again, Ning Cheng hastily grew anxious and explained to Shi Feng.
"And you were laughing just now!" Shi Feng stated coldly, staring at Ning Cheng.
"Yes, exactly! I saw him laughing too; it was a conspiratorial smirk!" At this, the Kirin King also angrily added.
"No! That’s not it! You’ve misunderstood!" Ning Cheng argued righteously, "I am a pervert!" When he ntioned his perversion, Ning Cheng seed almost justified.
Then he continued, "There’s nothing a pervert can’t do. It’s just the perverted kind of laugh I habitually show. Sotis I do it while walking, eating, even sleeping—it just naturally cos out, that perverted smile. Look!"
"Hehe!" As Ning Cheng spoke righteously about his perversion, he then flashed that sinister, perverted smile to both Shi Feng and the Kirin King. Then quickly, his facial expression returned to one of rectitude, and he said:
"See, have you seen it now? That’s just the way I am. Look at you both. We’re trapped in this formation, and while we’re all worried about possibly dying, your faces are all showing grave expressions. Yet, it seems like it doesn’t matter because I am a pervert, unlike you normal people!"
The absurdity of his words and expression made it seem like being a pervert sohow gave him a reasonable excuse!
"Young Master Feng, he admitted it himself just now, he is a pervert; there’s nothing a pervert wouldn’t do!" Finding themselves lured into the formation by the crazed Ning Cheng, the Kirin King almost wished Shi Feng could slay this maniac on the spot.
"Junior brother, don’t be deceived by others’ slander. We of the Nine Nether Lineage should love and care for each other, and must never resort to killing each other!" When Ning Cheng ntioned "killing one another," he put on a sorrowful appearance.
"If I find out it was indeed you who caused this mischief, I will slay you imdiately!" Shi Feng said coldly to Ning Cheng. Then, he looked up into the sky.
Just then, above them, a massive toad, seemingly composed of green venom, appeared like a small mountain, looming in the murky gray-white fog, sowhat concealed and apparent.
"Whoa!" The green toad let out a strange noise, then its mountainous body slowly pressed downward.
Looking up at the giant toad, the Kirin King, with his one-star Martial Venerable realm, felt utterly powerless and sensed that all escape routes had been decisively cut off for him and his companions by the surrounding green columns.
"Young Master Feng, what should we do now!" Kirin King said anxiously as he watched the green toad press down harder. After great difficulty in acquiring the Silver Stone, they had been brought into this bizarre Poison Array by Ning Cheng, the freak. Moreover, after entering the Death Forbidden Land, he had gained nothing, and the thought of dying like this was unbearable!
"Junior brother, it all depends on you now! Senior brother believes you can do it!" Ning Cheng also spoke up, encouraging Shi Feng.
Shi Feng looked up at the huge green toad pressing down slowly, then lowered his head to gaze at the green water columns spouting ahead. With a thought, the third Corrosive Demon Eye opened wide, and a dense black Demon Fog burst forth, rolling and moving toward the row of green water columns.
