Upon seeing Chu Yue’s arrival, Shi Feng hadn’t spoken yet when Shi Jinsuai preemptively said, "Brother Shi has a little darling in Starshine City. I’ve heard she is young but remarkably beautiful. I was just about to accompany Young Master Feng to Starshine City to et this little beauty."
Chu Yue flew up in front of Shi Feng and Shi Jinsuai and stopped. Hearing Shi Jinsuai ntion the little beauty, Chu Yue’s eyes lit up and he grew even more interested, "A little beauty! Then take Chu Yue with you too! How about it, Young Master Feng?"
Chu Yue’s face was full of smiles as he delivered the last sentence and looked at Shi Feng, asking.
"Your young lordship is going to Starshine City to attend to important matters. If you want to go, then co along!" Shi Feng said.
After listening to Shi Feng, Chu Yue laughed casually, "Since Young Master Feng said so, naturally, I must go."
"Let’s go then!" Shi Feng said.
After speaking, Shi Feng turned around, his figure moving first, once more breaking through the space towards the direction of the Transmission Array.
Watching the figure of Shi Feng break through space and depart, Chu Yue turned to Shi Jinsuai with a laugh, "It seems that my little martial uncle can’t wait to et his little beauty, huh!"
"Ha ha." Shi Jinsuai chuckled with a gentle wave of his golden fan upon hearing Chu Yue’s words, saying, "That must be the case, let us go as well!"
"Let’s go!"
In the Tianlan Empire, an unknown part of the Underground World.
On a dark and silent path, a figure was walking slowly. As this figure walked slowly, two flas like ghostly fires were suddenly lit on either side of the path.
These two flas, one green and one purple on the left and right, cast their glow on the figure walking down the quiet path. Dressed in Green-purple Battle Armor, this person was none other than Marquis Zi Qing, Zi Xiao!
Zi Xiao’s expression was stern. He kept walking along the underground path, and as he delved deeper, clusters of flas automatically ignited on both sides, each one a combination of green and purple, matching the color of Zi Xiao’s battle armor exactly.
Step by step, after about half an hour, a mountain peak of green and purple hues suddenly appeared before Zi Xiao.
Directly in front of Zi Xiao, the path continued to extend ahead, leading to a cave just tall enough for one person to enter. It appeared in Zi Xiao’s view.
"The Purple-Green Mountain and Purple-Green Cave left by the ancestors of the Zi Family are indeed in this place! They truly are! At last, I’ve found them!" Gazing at the cave ahead, a joyful smile broke across the usually cold face of Zi Xiao.
Imdiately following, a dark figure surfaced in Zi Xiao’s mind. As soon as the smile appeared, Zi Xiao’s face was instantly covered with a frosty layer, becoming exceptionally cold. A murderous aura spread from Zi Xiao in all directions.
After many years, Zi Xiao had finally found the Purple-Green Cave left by the ancestors of the Zi Family. Inside the cave, it was said that the Martial Arts legacies and secrets passed down through generations lay hidden.
Then, Zi Xiao flashed forward, darting into the Purple-Green Cave ahead.
Tianlan Empire, Starshine City!
Shi Feng, Shi Jinsuai, and Chu Yue arrived in Starshine City through the Space Transmission Array of Tianlan Imperial City.
Following that, the three figures broke into the void, racing towards the Chu Family in Starshine City.
And while tearing through space, in the palm of Shi Jinsuai’s hand, a Jade Scroll appeared; it was promptly crushed by Shi Jinsuai.
Just at that mont, from the buildings beneath Shi Feng and his companions, suddenly a figure burst through into flight - a young man with a commonplace face, looking exceedingly ordinary.
That young man arrived in front of Shi Jinsuai, bent at the waist, cupping one fist in the other and cried out, "Young Lord!"
"Walk and talk." Shi Jinsuai said.
"Yes!" The youth shouted in response and imdiately flew beside Shi Jinsuai as they continued towards the eastern side of Starshine City, towards the Chu Household.
Soon, Shi Jinsuai broke the silence and asked the young man beside him, "I hear the Chu Family is now in chaos; what’s the situation like, exactly?"
The young man replied, "Ever since the Chu Family Patriarch, Chu Zhu, and fourteen other strong mbers of the family died, many powers within Starshine City, whether previously enemies with the Chu Family or not, have set their sights on them. Although many strong mbers of the family have died, the wealth and cultivation resources that the Chu Family has accumulated over generations remain mostly intact, making them the envy of many."
After hearing the young man’s information, Shi Jinsuai then asked, "Is the person I told you to look for still with the Chu Family?"
"Yes, he is!" The youth nodded and said, "That Chu Yue, once he resurfaced in the Chu Family, has beco the new Clan Leader."
On the way, they discussed these matters, but soon, Shi Feng and his companions had already arrived above the Chu Family’s residence. Just then, from within the Chu Household below, ca successive sounds of battle cries and even harrowing screams.
"Oh? Are they in the midst of battle?" Looking down at the Chu Household, Shi Feng spoke. It seed that since his last visit to Starshine City, the Chu Family had indeed beco restless, and even the building clusters had likely collapsed in large parts due to combat.
"Let’s go; we are heading down!" Shi Feng spoke indifferently.
In an instant, four shadows dove straight into the Chu Family below.
Within the Chu Household, in the spacious courtyard in front of the grand hall, stood a sea of Martial Artists, numbering in the thousands at a glance.
The faces of many of these Martial Artists were bearing a mocking smile, looking forward to the mbers of the Chu Family inside the grand hall.
Compared to the people in the courtyard, every mber of the Chu Family had faces of indignation, anger, and coldness, looking at the outsiders. Amongst these people, many used to cozy up to and please the Chu Family, and so had even greatly benefited from the Chu Family in the past.
But now, as the Chu Family was in decline, these people had begun to kick them while they were down.
"Huang Hongyi! How nice of you! Really nice indeed!" Within the grand hall of the Chu Family, an elder pointed accusatorily at a middle-aged man, who seed to be in his forties at the very front of the crowd, and shouted angrily.
Huang Hongyi was the head of the Huang Family, the third-ranked power in Starshine City.
The reason Huang Hongyi beca the Family Head, rumors had it, was due to the assistance of the forr Chu Family Patriarch, Chu Zhu.
Confronted with the angry shout of the Chu elder, Huang Hongyi looked at him and smiled, saying, "I have always been great, and if your Chu Family completely disappears from Starshine City, I believe I can be even better, ha ha!"
"Humph! You think you can destroy my Chu Family with just these people!" At that mont, a powerful, angry shout resonated from within the grand hall of the Chu Family.
The person who emitted that shout was none other than the current Family Head of the Chu Family — Chu Yue!
