Watching her graceful smile, Asher Land quietly pondered over the words she had said in his heart.
This woman always caught him off guard like this.
These unexpected sweet words were sowhat overwhelming.
"Let’s go, get in the car." Sophie Smith said, thoughtfully opening the car door for him.
It felt like the role was reversed, didn’t it?

Sophie drove all the way towards the seaside.
She had always loved the ocean, that feeling of boundlessness and its connection to the horizon, which made the view expansive.
After half an hour, the car stopped.
She seldom took the initiative to hold Asher Land’s hand, but this ti was different; she reached out her slender hand and tightly clasped his broad palm.
Asher Land took charge, wrapping her small hand in his palm.
One large and one small footprint pressed into the fine sand, marking steps of varied depths. Sophie looked back at those footprints, as if feeling the ti they’d walked through together.
She suddenly stopped and stood in front of Asher Land, then embraced his body.
"Asher Land, it was my fault last night, I shouldn’t have been angry with you." She leaned against his chest, speaking softly and slowly.
"You’ve done so much for ; maybe I didn’t understand before, but now I know."
"I’m sorry, I burdened you with so much, and made you endure so many pains."
If it weren’t for her, he wouldn’t have carried the burden of being accused of murder, nor would his body bear so many scars.
As Sophie spoke, her eyes involuntarily grew wet.
Asher Land didn’t interrupt her.
"Asher Land, I love you; no matter what storms co in the future, I want to be with you, please don’t abandon , okay?"
His arms tightened slightly, holding her closer, like cradling a precious treasure he was unwilling to let go of, fearing that if he loosened his grip, she would vanish.
"Sophie, I love you too."
Thinking back now, he felt he hadn’t been a responsible enough man.
He hadn’t proposed to her; even registering at the civil office had been done at her request, under her ’threat’.
Now, all he could do was promise her a beautiful, grand century wedding.
His love for her had to be known to the whole world.
Sophie was Asher Land’s woman, for all eternity.

The entire day, they experienced what every couple does: hugs, holding hands, goodnight kisses, candlelit dinner, and even past midnight he secretly took her to watch a romantic movie. Without booking out the theater, they blended in with the crowd, and in the sowhat noisy cinema, Sophie realized for the first ti that their love was so genuine...
That day wasn’t luxurious, but very natural.
Upon returning to the Land Family ho, Asher parked the car and turned to see that she had already fallen asleep.
He certainly wouldn’t wake her; instead, he carefully carried her out of the car, and she found a comfortable spot in his arms, continuing to sleep peacefully.
Carrying her upstairs, as usual, he helped her wash up and get ready for bed, feeling like he was her thoughtful caretaker.
Sophie naturally and unreservedly enjoyed it all; she was obviously awake, yet still unwilling to move, letting Asher serve her.
To Asher, pampering her was his duty.
He was willing to spoil her for a lifeti, until the end of ti.
