The woman on the bed was naked, her body covered in bruises.
Her red lips slightly parted, breathing heavily, her entire being still exuded an aura of unfulfilled desire.
Irene slowly opened her eyes, only then seeing the man standing beside her bed, looking down at her.
His dark, profound eyes seed to scrutinize her, and as his brows furrowed deeply, even in her dazed state, Irene could see the disgust in his eyes.
"Brother Asher?" Irene’s voice carried a hint of seduction as soon as she spoke.
"Do you know what you’re doing?"
The feeling towards Irene now could no longer be described with just the word ’disheartened.’
"What I’m doing, isn’t it all thanks to you, Brother Asher?" Irene struggled to support her body and stood up, wavering as she walked to him, "What do you plan to do? Brother Asher, you drove away my man, are you going to take his place yourself?"
It seed like every ti she saw Asher Land, Irene’s consciousness would ignite like a fla, suddenly rising.
"Shut up!" Asher Land turned his back, refusing to look at her any longer.
"Since Brother Asher, you don’t want to see , nor do you want , I don’t know why you ca here and chased away my male companion. Such a good night was ruined by you..." Irene complained in her tone.
Asher Land never expected Irene would turn into what she is now.
"Why are you degrading yourself?" His voice lacked any warmth.
"What do you an by degrading? ******** is considered degrading myself? Then what do you call what you and Sister Sophie do every day?"
"Don’t misinterpret my words!" Asher Land turned around, his face flushed with a trace of anger. He picked up her clothes from the side and threw them onto her, "Put them on!"
Irene chuckled softly, not arguing, obediently putting on her clothes.
"How have I misinterpreted you?" She looked up at him, "You saw playing 3-P with n, are you jealous?"
"Irene, have you no sha?" Asher Land struggled to maintain a shred of composure, clenching his fists, forcing himself not to act out.
What was he angry about?
Honestly, he didn’t know at first.
But when he cald down, he understood.
He feared Irene’s descent into depravity, that feeling of being powerless to control her, watching her sink step by step, angered him.
Irene sat down on the bed, casually picking up a cigarette from the table and lighting it.
She imnsely enjoyed the taste that numbed her with smoke and alcohol, eyes slightly squinted as smoke surrounded her.
He approached her, snatched the cigarette from her hand, and extinguished it in the ashtray.
"Who taught you all this?" Asher Land felt he couldn’t see through Irene at all.
"You stop from playing with n and forbid from smoking. Brother Asher, what do you really want? I’ve already left you, isn’t that enough? Why do you care what I do? Who I learned from isn’t important at all."
Irene sneered coldly, proceeding to light another cigarette independently.
Asher Land, reaching the limit of his patience, pulled her from the bed and drew her close to him.
"Irene, I’m warning you, stop degrading yourself."
"Haha..." Irene hearing this, as if she heard a hilariously big joke, "Brother Asher, seems like it’s you who’s degrading yourself."
