When Asher Land turned around, he saw her resting her head on her hands, lying on the bed and looking at him.
Knowing she was lost in thought over him, an inexplicable sense of joy welled up inside him.
Sophie Smith lazily climbed out of bed and entered the bathroom to take a shower. After a short while, Alexander walked into their room.
Seeing Asher Land, he lowered his head, sowhat afraid to et his eyes.
Asher Land couldn’t figure out what made Alexander afraid of him.
"Have you eaten?" He softened his tone as much as possible.
"You and Mommy haven’t gotten up. I didn’t feel right eating by myself."

What’s there to feel embarrassed about?
Asher Land said nothing, bending slightly to pick up Alexander.
Alexander didn’t resist, quietly staying in Asher Land’s arms as he carried him downstairs.
"Young master, you’re finally up. What would you like to eat? I’ll make it right away," Nanny Garcia said, walking up to Asher Land and Alexander.
"What do you want to eat?" He asked his son, seeking his opinion.
Alexander was montarily confused. This wasn’t typical of Asher Land’s behavior at all. Would he really be this democratic?
"I’m fine with anything." Alexander responded calmly.
"Nanny Garcia, usually he likes to eat whatever, make that for him today." Asher Land instructed her, "By the way, is there anything that’s good for a woman’s health?"
Good for a woman’s health?
"Young master, which aspect are you referring to?"
Sophie Smith had been worn out by him lately. He was actually worried she couldn’t handle it, but with such a seductive woman sleeping beside him every night, he couldn’t quite control himself.
Asher Land didn’t specify further, so Nanny Garcia tried to interpret his tone and pondered for a mont, then seed to understand his implication.
"Alright, young master, I’ll get on it."
The father and son sat quietly together, and after a long pause, Alexander finally looked up.
"Dad..."
When Alexander called him "Dad," a ripple of emotion ran through his heart.
"Hmm?" he responded softly.
"You’ll love Mommy all your life, and you won’t leave her, right?" Alexander’s tone suddenly beca sowhat lancholic, "Before you ca back to Mommy, she often talked about you. She always said that Dad is a great person, she really likes him, and she thinks about eting him every day..."
Asher Land gripped the glass tightly, staying silent, listening to Alexander finish his words.
"So, after you marry Mommy, will you promise not to leave her again, not to let her be sad, okay?"
Asher Land curled his lips slightly, "Alright, I promise you, I will never leave you or your Mommy again."
"Hmm." Alexander bead happily, showing his bright white teeth.
Nanny Garcia brought down so fruit, seeing the harmonious atmosphere between Asher Land and Alexander, she joined them.
"Young master, when do you and Miss Smith plan on having a second child?"
Alexander looked up at Asher Land, "Dad, you and Mommy..."
Alexander hesitated, then dropped his head.
"Young master, what’s wrong?" Nanny Garcia noticed Alexander seed a bit unhappy.
"Don’t you want a little sister or brother to play with you?"
Alexander shook his head.
Nanny Garcia felt a bit awkward, realizing she might have asked sothing inappropriate.
"You don’t want your Mommy to have another baby, do you?" Asher Land unexpectedly voiced, asking Alexander.
