"Why?" Sophie Smith’s lips curled into a slight smile, "Is the identity of the third Young Madam of the Golden Era Consortium enough for you?"

Irene Morton felt a deep stab in her heart. The third Young Madam of the Golden Era?
She suddenly rembered her grand wedding with Asher Land, the event that stirred the entire city. She was as majestic as one could be, and Asher Land showed the world that Sophie Smith was his woman.
The atmosphere turned awkward; the man standing there looked increasingly uncomfortable. Being caught by his wife while out looking for a mistress...
"Miss Morton, are you willing to go for any man now?"
Eva Miller had walked in unknowingly. The man before her was nothing compared to Asher Land, like heaven and earth.
"Yeah, I’ll follow any man with money. What can I say? I’m strapped for cash right now." Irene curled her lips, "I’m not like the third Young Madam of the Golden Era, who always has soone supporting her from behind."
"Stop pretending to be poor," Eva Miller snorted twice, "Your Morton Clan Group is so powerful, why? They’re not even giving you allowance now?"
"Ha." Irene chuckled softly, shook her head, and suddenly prepared to walk out.
"Let’s talk." Sophie stepped in front of her, blocking her path.
"Talk? What’s there to talk about?"
"Just ten minutes," Sophie insisted, grabbing Irene’s hand and heading toward the restroom. Eva Miller tried to follow but was stopped by Sophie.
"Eva, this is our personal matter." Having no choice, Eva Miller halted.
"Speak quickly!" Inside the restroom, an impatient Irene shook off Sophie’s hand and tidied her hair.
"Why haven’t you left Eastern City?" She rembered Asher Land telling her that he had seen Irene before.
"Are you questioning ?" Irene’s face showed even more impatience, "Whether I leave or not, what does it have to do with you?"
"Back then, you promised Asher Land that you wouldn’t disrupt our life anymore."
Sophie wasn’t sure if her words were appropriate, but she had to admit, Irene’s persistence could be quite alarming.
"Did I disrupt you?" She smirked with a hint of disdain, "Did I ruin your wedding? Your honeymoon? Sophie Smith, I didn’t expect you to be so insecure about your relationship with Brother Asher."
"My relationship with him is not for you to question," Sophie’s unwavering gaze was evident to Irene.
"Alright, wishing you a long-lasting marriage. Can I leave now?"
Sophie felt more and more unsettled about Irene. Despite the so-called ’blessing’, her words seed thorny.
Irene was about to turn and leave, but suddenly seed to recall sothing and returned.
"By the way, since we’ve both ’served’ the sa man before, could you give a card to swipe?" She currently couldn’t even afford her hotel expenses.
Sophie’s face tightened. What exactly was she talking about?
"Don’t look at with such a puzzled expression. I’m penniless now, I just want you to give a bit of money. If you don’t, I’ll ask Brother Asher for it?"
