The maid placed the soup in front of Luke Land. Just slling that scent made Luke feel like throwing up a bit. He thought, Eva Miller eats this kind of stuff every day; it’s indeed a bit hard on her.
"I saw it, oh! Your bowl of soup is only one-third filled, so does that an I only need to drink one-third too?" Eva was excited and picked up an empty bowl next to her, preparing to pour so from her own full bowl of soup.
"Go fill it up." Luke handed the bowl to the maid, and Eva’s face instantly fell.
A bowl full of soup was placed in front of Luke; he furrowed his brow, looking extrely unwilling.
"Luke Land, don’t force yourself if you can’t drink it..." Eva gloated beside him, "Ha, now you know the pain we won go through, right..."
Eva was about to start a long rant, but Luke just took that bowl of soup and... downed it in one go.
"Cough, cough..." Luke struggled to swallow the contents, and his stomach imdiately felt nauseous.
"Second Young Master, are you alright?" Several maids hurriedly stepped forward to ask.
"I’m fine." Luke barely held it together for a while, preventing himself from throwing up in front of Eva, "Keep an eye on Young Madam and make sure she finishes all of this."
After speaking, Luke turned and went upstairs.
He went to the bathroom and kept heaving, wishing he could dig out his own stomach to feel better.
Downstairs.
"Young Madam..."
"Alright, alright, stop talking, I’ll eat, isn’t that enough?" Eva pouted; Luke was too ruthless, being able to down a whole bowl in one go, was he pumped full of adrenaline?
Eva sighed, picked up the bowl, and took a spoonful, struggling to eat the food in front of her.

Luke finally managed to throw up everything from his stomach and felt a bit comfortable.
On the sofa, his phone vibrated. Seeing it was Asher Land’s call, he walked over and answered.
"Did you get it done with Eva last night?" Asher’s extrely lazy voice ca from the other end, clearly still in bed.
"Didn’t do it." Luke replied grumpily, now his mind was still filled with the thought of that bowl of soup. Thinking about it made him want to go back to the bathroom to throw up.
"Speaking as soone with experience, I’m seriously telling you, at five months it’s possible." Asher advised earnestly, "Just be careful not to press on her belly."
"..."
Early in the morning, the two brothers were discussing this kind of topic?
"Stop it, I want to do it, but Little Chili won’t allow it, do you expect to force myself on a pregnant woman? I’m not as beastly as you."
This really wronged Asher; during Sophie’s pregnancy, the number of tis he touched her could be counted on one hand.
"Besides, she’s carrying my son in her belly, what if I accidentally hurt my child while moving? It’s not worth it, forget it, I’ll just hold off until she gives birth."
To be honest, in the four or five years since that one incident in the United States, when he and Eva had relations by accident, he hasn’t been with any other woman. The discomfort in his heart and body, perhaps only he truly understands.
"Ha." Asher chuckled lightly, "It’s your call, I can’t hurry this for you."
