"Sophie!" Asher Land couldn’t help but raise his voice.
What now? She was just stating facts. If that man hadn’t made advances on her, she wouldn’t have thrown herself into his arms!
"Sophie, I’m warning you, you’ve successfully angered ." He said with a forced smile, and Sophie sensed danger in his eyes.
"..." Sophie’s mind was racing, trying to figure out how to make up for what she just said.
But it was already too late.
Asher dragged her into the room and turned around to lock the door.
"Asher Land, I’m telling you, don’t do anything crazy!" Sophie leaned against the wall in a panic, her eyes darting around.
"Did you know? Today you did what a smart woman would do."
If she hadn’t walked towards him earlier, he definitely wouldn’t have taken the initiative to save her, nor pulled her from that disgusting man’s embrace. Her actions still satisfied him.
"I, I don’t know what you’re talking about." She said awkwardly, feeling mortified that she had actually seduced Asher Land in front of so many people.
"Alright, just keep playing dumb then." Asher remained indifferent, as he skillfully began to take off her clothes.
"No!" Sophie held onto her clothes tightly.
He hadn’t tasted her body for a long ti. With the delicacy so close, how could he resist indulging?

Sophie sat indignantly on the bed, watching Asher Land standing impeccably dressed in front of the mirror, her anger flaring up.
"Are you satisfied?" Asher Land smirked triumphantly. Undoubtedly, she had been moved in bed.
"You..." Sophie knew she couldn’t out-argue him, so she resolved not to contend with him any further.
Unknowingly, fate and ti drew her back to Asher Land’s side again. She seed to have lost her resistance to him; she was dood, unable to escape him.
"What are you thinking about?" He walked over when he saw her lost in thought.
"I’m thinking about when we’ll end this, and how." She smiled faintly.
That smile was so powerless, as if she had given up all resistance.
"Are you really looking forward to leaving ?"
Sophie didn’t answer.
"Answer ."
"I used to be, but now..." Sophie paused, and Asher’s gaze was a bit tense, as if he was anticipating sothing.
Now should be the sa, right? But why she couldn’t say it?
"I should be going." She dressed and fled from the topic she herself had sparked.
"I’ll take you back."
"No need." Sophie refused promptly.
Watching her departing back, his heart felt unsettled.
He had once said he’d let her go, but he couldn’t do it. This decision was sothing he might backtrack on at any mont.
Sophie walked aimlessly on the street, mories of her ti with Asher Land flashing through her mind. She was rely a dispensable substitute for him, she knew it.

Sophie shook her head to clear her mind, trying not to think about it any further.
Sophie, why are you becoming more conflicted? Can’t your thoughts be simpler? Haven’t you always wanted to leave him? Don’t you hate him?
Although you haven’t escaped him yet, Asher Land will tire of you eventually. Just wait a little longer.
A sudden fear flashed across her heart, mysteriously; she didn’t know what she was afraid of.
A terrifying thought flickered across her mind, as if saying, Sophie, you might have started to fall for him.
"No, no, definitely not." She practically shouted the words out loud. How could she fall for a Demon who saw her as a re plaything?
She found a bench by the roadside and sat down, feeling lost. She wrapped her thin fra tightly with her arms. The quieter it was, the lonelier she felt.
