"You want to send them off?" Asher Land paused and then said, "I’ll ask Robert Williams to take you to the airport."
"Brother Asher, that’s not what I ant." How could he just take her words out of context, "I want you to co with ."
She seriously reiterated.
"I don’t have ti."
It wasn’t that he wanted to reject Irene; he simply wasn’t interested in socializing with anyone from the Mortons other than Irene.
Irene’s disappointnt was clearly written on her face, but what could be done? Could she forcibly drag him along?
"I recall you seem to have free ti this afternoon; why won’t you accompany Irene?" Sophie Smith couldn’t help but interject.
Seeing Irene being rejected made her feel a bit uneasy, so she deliberately undermined him; after all, he usually doted on Irene, didn’t he?
Therefore, he probably wouldn’t cruelly refuse again, right?
Asher Land’s expression clearly showed displeasure after being undermined, and he cast a disgruntled glance at Sophie Smith before taking the car keys from Robert Williams, who stood behind him.
