Sophie Smith’s entrance was quite stunning.
She wore a plain chiffon dress, her figure graceful, with three thousand strands of dark hair tied into a high chignon, bright teeth and eyes, like a beauty stepping out of a classical painting. Her natural beauty was breathtaking, and her ancient costu accentuated her fresh and pure, orchid-like temperant.
"Truly beautiful," Wyatt Sterling couldn’t help but exclaim, his gaze seemingly captivated, staring straight at her.
"Thank you, Senior Brother..." Sophie said shyly, lowering her head. Yet, this scene fell right into Asher Land’s eyes; in his view, these two were simply exchanging flirtatious glances—how dare they do so in front of him?
"Action!" the director called out, as the caras got into position. Sophie and Wyatt strolled outside the palace walls; Wyatt was undoubtedly an excellent actor. Once imrsed in the role, his deeply affectionate eyes seed to draw people in. Sophie found herself swept up by his emotions, and they got the scene right in one take! Astonishingly, although they had never worked together before, they seed perfectly in tune.
Sophie sat on a bench resting, holding a bottle of mineral water, and took a big sip.
"President Land, it’s been a while since you’ve called !"
Sophie heard a coy voice and turned to look. The owner of the voice was Anna.
Anna usually wasn’t like this; her speaking tone among their group of actors and crew was quite assertive, always presenting herself as a big star. But upon eting Asher Land, she transford into a demure woman, and this change in style unsettled Sophie.
Anna continued her charming antics before Asher Land, and finally, to everyone’s surprise, she sat directly on Asher Land’s lap in plain view.
Sophie nearly choked on her water, unable to stop herself from coughing.
Did these two think this was the place to show off their chemistry? Was Anna, a big star, not afraid of generating unfavorable reports? Or was she proud to have rumors with Asher Land? Sophie couldn’t quite grasp the situation.
However, after seeing the envious and spiteful glances from various actresses towards Anna, she understood. With just a word from Asher Land, these won would willingly beco his.
How ridiculous! Sophie withdrew her gaze, ignoring their presence as she continued to look at her script.
"Sophie," Wyatt Sterling approached, handing her a cup of yogurt.
"Oh? How did you know I love this? And it’s plain yogurt."
"Uh, I just bought it randomly. I thought most girls seem to like it," Wyatt said awkwardly.
"Oh," Sophie was still very happy. Sipping yogurt when bored was the best way for her to kill ti.
Asher Land tightened both fists, watching the two of them sweetly interact. He couldn’t resist the urge to take Sophie back by his side, and indeed, that’s what he did.
He strode forward, towering over her as she sat on the bench.
At first, Sophie didn’t notice, but why did she feel her surroundings were getting colder?
