Sophie almost covered Eva’s mouth as they walked out of the ward.
"Sophie, you’re, you’re pregnant!"
"Yeah."
"Who’s the father?" Eva Miller blurted out instinctively.
Sophie’s lips twitched, surprised that Eva, usually quite smart, was a bit daft today.
"Besides Asher Land, have I slept with any other man?"
"That’s great then, Sophie! Now President Land has to take responsibility whether he likes it or not. Hah, these n, they think it’s over once they zip up their pants but now it’s ti for them to face the consequences!" Eva Miller looked righteous as ever.
