Nanny Garcia suggested calling for a doctor, but she was naturally unwilling. If the doctor ca, her pregnancy wouldn’t remain a secret. In this sensitive period, she absolutely couldn’t let Asher Land discover this fact.
Asher Land returned so quickly that she wasn’t ntally prepared at all. She had intended to act nonchalant before he got back, but in reality, when he arrived, she was clutching her stomach, throwing up frantically in the bathroom.
