Though, sotis she resented her mother for leaving her in this world, deep down in her heart, she stubbornly believed that Asher Land was the true culprit. If it hadn’t been for his coercion, his cruelty, her mother would never have left her.

She glanced back at the man peacefully asleep behind her, all her emotions slowly building up. During this ti, she stayed by his side, and he surely couldn’t imagine how much she was suffering, how much pain she was in.
She hated him, hated him to her very core.
She slowly turned her body, approaching the bedside. For the first ti, her eyes were filled with revenge.

On the desk, there was a fruit knife. She longed to pick it up and make a cut on his wrist or chest, but she just picked it up then imdiately put it down.
She couldn’t stand herself being so cowardly and powerless, she painfully ran to the window, curling up to sit on the cold floor.

Asher Land slowly opened his cold eyes, he hadn’t ignored the earlier commotion, he even heard the sound of the fruit knife being picked up and then put down...
He hadn’t anticipated that this woman hated him so deeply.
