Asher Land was quite satisfied with her move, and she triumphantly curled her lips into a smile.
Sophie took out his wallet and swiped the card to pay.
After leaving the mall, Sophie dragged him to a tea shop.
"The milk tea here is delicious, and the owner is very warm. Usually, couples choose this place for dates."
Sophie chose a seat near the window, more secluded inside, and pulled Asher Land to sit down.
She ordered two cups of milk tea from the server.
"I don’t drink this, and you’re pregnant, so you should drink less of these things too," Asher Land said, sowhat disdainfully pushing the milk tea away.
"Asher Land, didn’t you say you wanted to make up for my regrets? This is exactly how we dated in college. See, I told you, there’s a generation gap with you." She said angrily.

Asher Land’s mouth twitched. Was he really that old?
"Oh, didn’t your college romances involve going to bed and making love?" he said thoughtfully.
Sophie glared at him; talking to him about campus love was simply a disgrace.
"Campus romance is the purest and simplest; don’t asure it by your filthy thoughts, okay?"
Seeing her sowhat unhappy, he had no choice but to coax her.
He picked up the milk tea and reluctantly took a sip.
Seeing him drink it, her lips finally relaxed a bit.
Indeed, the tea shop was filled with couples who were closely interacting, holding hands, and hugging, obviously in the throes of a passionate romance.
"Learn from them, see how they treat their girlfriends."
Asher Land followed her gaze and saw those guys acting like servants in front of their girlfriends, practically devoid of any male dignity.
He snorted coldly, expressing disdain.
"You..." Sophie found his attitude sowhat annoying.
"Sophie, you know, you can only boss around in one place."
"Where?"

Sophie felt she had nothing in common to talk about with him and just kept her head down, sipping her milk tea.

"Why don’t you learn from those girls to cheer up your boyfriend?"
Sophie looked in the direction he pointed, confused.
A girl was clinging to her boyfriend’s arm, pouting and acting cute, making Sophie’s skin crawl.
"Sorry, I can’t," she replied honestly.
"Don’t you know how to learn? It seems pretty easy," he said, putting on a lecturing tone.
Easy? How was it easy? If she had to treat Asher Land like that, it would be harder than climbing to the heavens!
