Sophie Smith didn’t think much of it and followed him into the already booked private room.
Arlo called over the waiter, signaling that they could start serving the food.
Though Sophie wasn’t really hungry, since soone was inviting her to dinner, she still had to make so effort to cooperate.
"Senior Sophie, here, I’m toasting you with a glass of wine, thanking you for looking after in the crew."
In the crew, Sophie had so influence because of Wyatt Sterling’s special attention. She had acting experience, whereas Arlo was a fresh actor straight out of college, so in terms of acting skills and other aspects, Sophie had looked out for him.
"I’m sorry, I can’t drink." Looking at the full glass of wine Arlo handed her, she refused.
How could a pregnant woman be drinking?
"Senior Sophie, you’re really not giving any face, huh? Just take a small sip, that’s all it takes to show goodwill." Arlo poured out a large part of the wine, leaving only a small sip.
Alright, Sophie had no choice but to take the glass.
She took a sip, then picked up her chopsticks, ready to grab the food in front of her.
However, she just couldn’t get a grip on it, her head felt dizzy, how did the alcohol hit so quickly?
She propped her head up, trying to stay awake.
Arlo sat beside her, just watching coldly, waiting for her to pass out.
Sophie finally couldn’t hold on and slumped over the table.

"Brother Faye, she’s passed out. Should I take her to a hotel room now?"
The man Arlo was calling Brother Faye was Arlo’s current agent.

The real purpose of Arlo inviting Sophie to dinner wasn’t so innocent. Sophie’s popularity was completely above his own, and as a newcor, he wouldn’t beco famous unless the agency promoted him.
So he discussed with his agent to use Sophie to stir up a scandal. They even paid the paparazzi to take photos secretly. If the photos of him and Sophie entering a hotel room got out tomorrow, it would likely cause a major stir, and he could use it to increase his visibility.
He targeted Sophie because he thought she was totally unsuspecting of him.

Asher Land arrived at the location Sophie had ntioned and gave her a call.
Hah, thinking she could leave him behind and have dinner with soone else?
No chance.
But the phone rang for a long ti without anyone answering.
Asher was very annoyed and threw his phone to the side impatiently.
"President Land, there’s soone sneaking around up ahead, looks like a paparazzo," Robert Williams, sitting in the driver’s seat, suddenly spoke up.
Asher followed Robert’s gaze and saw a man in a black hoodie and cap hiding behind a flower pillar at the hotel’s entrance, with a cara hanging in front of his neck.
Asher furrowed his brow in thought. Sophie ca here to eat, but there were paparazzi hanging around. Could they be here to photograph her?
"Go down, use any ans necessary, and get that person’s cara."
Robert nodded in agreent, then opened the car door and got out.
As for the ans to use, Robert opted for the simplest and most direct thod.
He just snatched it.
He quickly took the paparazzo down, grabbed his cara, and handed it to Asher.
