"Sophie..." Eva Miller called her na over and over, crying more fiercely.
Eventually, Sophie couldn’t hold back either, and tears slid down from the corners of her eyes.
"Did soone die at ho? Why are you crying?" At so point, Asher Land had already walked behind them, his face gloomy.
Sophie instinctively wiped her tears with her hand.
Seeing Asher Land’s angry deanor, Eva stopped crying and got up from the ground.
Asher couldn’t help but frown and pulled Sophie by the hand, leading her inside.
She was about to have a baby, yet she was crying and making herself so emotional...
"Asher, let go of ..." Sophie struggled, and he imdiately let go without hesitation.
"I want to go sowhere this afternoon."
"Where?" Actually, he already had an inkling in his heart.
"I want to see Mr. Johnson." She lowered her head and no longer t his eyes.
For a long, long ti, she didn’t get any response from him.
She knew he must be angry inside at the mont.
"What ti in the afternoon?"
"Hmm?"
"I asked what ti in the afternoon are you going?"
Usually, when he asks like this, it ans he has agreed, right?
"Two o’clock."
"I’ll have the driver take you."
"No need, I’ll go with Eva." She lifted her gaze to him, "Thank you for agreeing."
He just responded with a "hmm," and nothing more.
Now, he only wished for her to do what she wanted, no matter what it was, he didn’t care.

Under the guard’s escort, Oliver Johnson ca out.
After not seeing him for two months, he looked much more haggard.
"Mr. Johnson..." Sophie struggled to speak, her voice slightly trembling.
Eva’s eyes began to turn red again after seeing Oliver Johnson.
"How do you both have ti to co over?" His expression wasn’t as heavy as expected; rather, he looked relaxed.
"I never expected things..."
"Sophie." He interrupted her, "For things to turn out this way is entirely my deserved consequence. Even if, as you say, I have to give my life to atone, I have no complaints."
He had said that regardless of the outco of this matter, he was willing to bear it.
"Sophie, do you still hate ?" He wasn’t sure if he could get the answer he wanted. There was a hint of hope and fear in his eyes.
She shook her head.
Instantly, his expression brightened.
"We’ve reconciled, haven’t we?" She smiled calmly, "So I’ve long stopped hating you."
How many things in life are there to always keep in mind? Living like that would be so exhausting.
However, she was willing to forever rember the Oliver Johnson she t at first sight.
"Eva." Oliver suddenly spoke, directing his gaze to Eva Miller beside him.
Eva was suddenly startled. He, he called her Eva?
"Take good care of yourself. I was a jerk, I’m sorry."
Eva shook her head vigorously. Everything was done willingly.
She was reluctant to let him go. The thought of him spending more than four years in this dreadful prison made her heart ache terribly, as if it were being ripped apart.
She swore it was the first ti in her life she had ever felt that way.
"Brother Johnson, I will wait for you to co out."
"Don’t waste your ti on soone who isn’t worth it." His lips curled into a self-deprecating smile, "I’m not worth your sacrifice."
