Irene’s eyes suddenly darkened; if she hadn’t sent soone to secretly photograph Asher Land and Sophie Smith’s movents, she might not have known they had co this far, even having a child.

Since Asher Land stayed by her side after Christopher Smith’s death, many things were neglected. Upon returning from Bali Island, after staying ho for two days, he flew straight to the United States.
On the third day after he went to Arica, the house welcod an uninvited guest.
Sophie Smith stood by the railing on the second floor, looking down, the living room unexpectedly filled with many people she didn’t recognize, yet among the bustling crowd, there was one person she rembered.

Luke Land stood with hands in pockets, a faint ambiguous smile at the corner of his mouth, looking upstairs at Sophie Smith by the railing.
Sophie’s expression froze, her small hand gripping the rail tightly, her face showing a hint of extre discomfort.
Her gaze swept across the downstairs hall, surprisingly not seeing Alexander.
She didn’t hesitate, stepping down the stairs toward Luke Land, raising her eyes to face him.
"What do you want to do?"
"Do what?" Luke Land snorted coldly, "Of course, it’s about snatching your son."
"You!"
Sophie felt sowhat infuriated, but she knew she couldn’t lose her temper.
"Here’s a suggestion for you, directly call Third Brother, let him prepare to fly from the United States to the European Headquarters, don’t return to Eastern City," he ’kindly’ reminded.
"Must you do this?" Sophie’s face paled slightly, now she was truly powerless.
"It’s not that I want to do this, taking your son back to Headquarters is the old man’s wish; but who called Third Brother so lacking in judgnt? Almost thirty years old and still so impulsive, is this child sothing he can just take because he wants to?" Luke Land curved his lips, looking down at Sophie Smith, this woman truly is sothing; it seems he has to see her in a new light.
"Can’t you not take Alexander, please?"
She was truly at a dead end, especially with Asher Land not by her side at this mont, making her even more anxious and disorganized.
"That, I’m afraid I can’t decide." Luke Land shrugged, he had gauged the timing well to co; if Asher Land were here, he couldn’t take the child away. However, if he didn’t take the child back, the old man might very well skin him.
