"Mr. Davis, are you feeling unwell? Do you need to visit the hospital?" Sophie Smith asked, noticing Nolan Davis’s furrowed brow and pallor.
"It’s nothing serious." Nolan Davis replied with his eyes closed, so Sophie Smith chose to sit quietly beside him, not wanting to disturb.
Upon returning to the Davis Family residence, Nolan Davis walked directly to his room and shut the door behind him.
Sophie Smith, who had been following behind him, was left standing outside as the door was closed abruptly, leaving her out in the cold.
"Miss Smith, what’s wrong with Mr. Davis? He seems a bit off," Amanda approached and asked her.
"I don’t know what’s going on. Do you have anything for headaches here?"
"Yes, I’ll get it for Miss Smith right away." Amanda replied, then ran off to fetch a beautifully packaged little box, which contained a light green liquid. Sophie Smith sniffed it, detecting a hint of peppermint.
She knocked on the door several tis, but was t with a sowhat impatient voice from inside.
"Don’t bother ."
"Mr. Davis, I have dicine for headaches here. Would you like to try...?" Before Sophie Smith could finish speaking, the door was suddenly opened.
She extended her hand to offer him the small bottle, but he didn’t take it.
Sophie Smith wasn’t sure what he ant by that.
"Co in and help massage."

Sophie Smith thought, although she wasn’t very skilled at serving others, Nolan Davis did offer her and Alexander shelter, so she shouldn’t refuse him.
She let out a small "Mm," and walked into his room, closing the door behind her.
Nolan Davis leaned back on the sofa. Sophie Smith poured so of the peppermint-scented liquid onto her fingertips and gently massaged the side of his temple.
With her touch, Nolan Davis indeed felt much more comfortable.
"Did you used to do this for Third Young Master Land?"
"Hmm?"
"No need to think about it, you certainly did," he murmured as if talking to himself.
This woman, even though he had paid a high price to ’buy’ her back, nothing about her belonged to him.
Sophie Smith’s movents never ceased, watching Nolan Davis close his eyes and seem to enjoy it, but she felt embarrassed to say her fingers were starting to ache...
After about thirty minutes, Nolan Davis finally said, "That’s enough."
Sophie Smith felt relieved.
"Mr. Davis, please rest well."
As soon as she left the room, she suddenly felt a sharp cramp in her stomach and noticed a fluid flowing from her lower body, internally screaming that this was bad.
It must be her period.
Supporting herself to stand, she hurried to the bathroom to change a sanitary pad.
Her nstrual cramps were especially severe, particularly on the first day.
