He stood up, towering over Ace Williams who was trembling at his feet, "If you can’t do it, that’s fine. I can punish you now, or give you a quick end. I doubt anyone would trace your death back to Asher Land."
As soon as he finished speaking, Robert Williams pulled out a handgun and pressed it against Ace Williams’ forehead.
"No, no, Young Master, I, I can do it."
"Good that you can." Asher Land signaled with his eyes and Robert retracted the gun. He leaned down, coming face to face with Ace, "Let make it clear first. If you leak any information and the old man targets , I promise you’ll die before I do. Believe it or not, but if you keep your mouth shut and do your job well, I’ll reward you with more than enough benefits to last a lifeti. Five million is nothing; I could even buy that casino just for you."
"Yes, I understand, Young Master. Rest assured, I’ll do as you say." Ace Williams had no other choice. Asher Land was not soone to be trifled with. If he got angry, Ace’s life would be forfeit. But if he followed Asher’s instructions, perhaps he’d have a chance to enjoy wealth and glory.
He could only risk everything.
"Good." Asher Land chuckled softly, picked up the drug, and played with it in his hands, "This drug works slowly. Mix it with the original dication before injecting it. Be mindful of the dosage, use just a little, understood?"

Asher Land said no more, tossed the drug onto the table, and turned to leave.
Inside the vehicle, the atmosphere was stifling. He lit a cigarette, half-closing his eyes which grew increasingly dangerous, and exhaled a puff of smoke.
"President Land, do you really trust Ace Williams that much?" Robert, seated in the driver’s seat, couldn’t help but ask.
If Ace were to expose these events in front of Nathan Land, their young master’s life would indeed be in jeopardy.
The drug’s scientific na was KIA10, which Asher Land had indeed purchased at a high price from a research institute. However, this drug did not save lives; rather, it took them.
It was a type of ********, small doses would make a person euphoric, but long-term use would lead to ntal breakdown and, ultimately, death.
He wanted Nathan Land dead.
"Drive." Asher Land didn’t answer Robert’s question. He could only gamble, using his life as the stake.

About a week later, Sophie Smith received a text ssage from Asher Land.
She entrusted the sleeping child to the housekeeper and headed downstairs.
