Irene still kept her head down, not daring to look at the dangerous man in front of her.
He walked closer to her, and Irene felt an invisible pressure that instantly made her unable to breathe.
"Why are you following ?"
"Brother Asher, I wasn’t following you, I just happened to see you and Sister Sophie go to the hotel."
Going to a hotel to get a room, a whole day and night.
Irene unconsciously clenched her hands, feeling indignant. Even though this man agreed to get engaged to her, so what? His heart, his body, none of it belonged to her.
"Irene, I’m warning you, don’t ss with Sophie Smith again!" She could feel the anger radiating off him, but she didn’t want to yield in front of him. Yes, he would do anything for Sophie, even cripple his left arm, or agree to marry her, and now he was even here warning her. In his eyes, Sophie was his world, his everything. And her? To him, she was just sothing disgusting!
"Brother Asher, if you don’t want to bother Sister Sophie, then you shouldn’t go looking for her either."
"What does looking for her have to do with you?" He snickered, "Don’t think too highly of yourself; do you really think of yourself as my fiancée?"

Irene was obviously angered by his words. What did he an by don’t think too highly of yourself? What did he an by not putting herself in the role of his fiancée?
"Since you’ve already agreed to get engaged to , you shouldn’t be looking for Sister Sophie..."
In truth, even as she spoke, she didn’t have confidence in her own words.
"Haha..." As expected, after hearing her words, he reacted like he’d heard a joke, "So what if I agreed to get engaged to you? Wasn’t this sothing you all forced on ? Do you really expect to be dedicated to you just because of an engagent?"
"I’m telling you, even if we got married, I wouldn’t touch a single hair on your head. If you can’t stand it, it’s fine if you find another man."
Irene’s whole body couldn’t stop trembling. How could he be so heartless? So cruel?
Seeing the color drain from her face, he chuckled softly and shook his head.
"What? Don’t like the way I’m doing things? Then go and make things clear with your father and the old man, tell them you don’t want to marry , isn’t that enough?"
Don’t marry him?
"Brother Asher, then let tell you, I will marry no one but you. Rest assured, I will cling to you tightly, and in this life, you can forget about finding happiness with Sister Sophie!"
Asher Land’s eyes flickered, leaving him speechless when faced with this Irene.
"Alright, let’s see how much we can tornt each other."
"Brother Asher, the worse you tornt , the worse off Sister Sophie will be. Even if I die, I’ll make sure Sister Sophie is buried with !" She raised her head, eting his deep and cold gaze, speaking each word clearly.
"Irene, you win." His gaze was filled with disgust, and he said nothing more to her as he turned and walked upstairs.
Watching his back disappear from her sight, the forceful deanor she held in front of him finally receded.
Her eyes began to redden; every word he said truly wounded her heart.
"Brother Asher, do you really have to treat this way? I hate you, I really do..."
