"Asher Land, what’s up with you? Why are you so fired up in the middle of the night..." She tried hard to open her sleepy eyes and talk to him.
"Am I fired up?" He coughed lightly, and his tone imdiately softened. Seriously, why was he being an to her again?
"Yeah..." She earnestly responded with a ’yeah’.
"So, should I speak softer now?"
"What’s the matter with you?" She yawned, "I want to sleep. If there’s anything, let’s talk about it tomorrow, okay?"
"No sleeping. Keep company and chat with ."
Sophie Smith sighed deeply. What’s up with him now?
"Alright then, what do you want to talk about..."
"Whose woman are you?"
"..." Sophie Smith was completely puzzled. Was he calling late at night to chat just for this?
"Don’t you know whose woman I am?" She lay in bed, holding her phone, staring blankly at the pitch black above.
"I’m not sure."
On the other end of the line, his voice seed full of jealousy and tension. Who on earth provoked him tonight?
She cleared her throat and then spoke.
"I am Asher Land’s woman. Is that enough?"
His mouth curled up slightly. Hearing her say that herself, indeed, his mood brightened significantly.
"Not enough. You need to tell sothing this important several tis."
"Asher Land, stop it, I really need to sleep now..." Her eyelids were almost glued together, yet Young Master Land kept pestering her persistently.
"Sophie Smith, say it to ."
It seed that every ti she said it, it made his mind more at ease.
"I don’t want to say it anymore." She grumbled.
She set the phone aside, didn’t hang up, just closed her eyes, and slowly drifted off to sleep.
"Sophie Smith?" He tried calling her na, but she didn’t respond.
The even breathing sound ca through the exceptionally clear phone quality and reached his ears. He smiled and shook his head.
"Good night, sweetheart."

When Sophie Smith woke up early the next morning, she saw the phone was still connected, showing her and Asher Land’s call ti as eight hours and five minutes.
"Asher Land,..." She picked up the phone and tentatively spoke.
"Here."
"Why didn’t you hang up the phone last night?"
"Forgot."
Actually, just being able to faintly hear her breathing was enough, and indeed, he hadn’t slept all night.

Sophie Smith’s face turned as red as if it would bleed. Surely he was making it up; she wouldn’t dream that.
"Not talking to you anymore!" She quickly hung up the phone, and although she wasn’t sure how much of Asher Land’s words were true, darn it, what if she really did have that dream? Suddenly, she felt uncertain. Actually, she might have had a dream like that before...
