Asher Land ran to the room, pushed open the door, but after scanning around, he didn’t see Sophie Smith inside.
He glanced at the floor, noticing blood stains and a piece of a dress. He rembered that it was the dress she wore today!
So, what exactly happened?
He punched the wall, blood erged from his hand, as if unsatisfied, he punched twice more.
"Who did she call?"
He hadn’t received her ergency call, so whoever took her must be soone attending the banquet.
"It was, it was Nolan Davis," Robert Williams said cautiously.
"They certainly haven’t gone far, go stop them!"
He spoke and tried to leave, but Robert Williams blocked his way.
"President Land, given the current situation, you, you are not suitable to go after Miss Smith..." Robert Williams said truthfully, the banquet speech was less than twenty minutes away.
"Do you dare defy ?" Asher Land grabbed his collar, a bloodthirsty impulse in his eyes.
"No, I wouldn’t dare..."
Asher Land snorted coldly, released him, and walked towards the exit with large strides.
Helplessly, Robert Williams had to follow.
Two luxury cars sped like lightning along the wide, empty road.

"Drive faster!" Asher Land spoke impatiently, he knew the car ahead was Nolan Davis’s.
In the car being chased by Asher Land, indeed, Nolan Davis was inside, looking down at the woman who had fallen into a coma in his arms, he laughed bitterly.
"Little Sophie, this ti I won’t let you return to his side."

Asher Land unbuckled his seatbelt, got out of the car, and stood in front of Nolan Davis’s car.
He clearly saw the back seat, Nolan Davis holding Sophie Smith, but due to Nolan Davis’s suit jacket blocking, he couldn’t see Sophie’s face, and she seed unconscious now...

He was sowhat troubled, honked several tis, but the man blocking his car remained unmoved.
"Crash," Nolan Davis said for the third ti.
There was no other way, the driver had to twist the key, restart the car, shift gears, retreat a bit, his heart was set, closed his eyes, then stepped hard on the accelerator.
"Watch out, President Land!" Robert Williams, who sensed sothing wrong, forcefully pushed Asher Land when the car charged at him in an instant, causing both to fall to the ground, while Nolan Davis’s car sped away.
