Amanda watched the small figure busying away in the kitchen, a hint of confusion flickering in her eyes.
"Miss Smith, if you want to eat sothing, just ask the chef to make it. Why do it yourself?"
"Oh, the chefs here mainly make Western food. I wanted to try so Chinese dishes."
"Isn’t it simple? Just ask Mr. Davis to hire a chef who can cook Chinese dishes." Amanda thought that Nolan Davis cared so much for her that he would surely fulfill such a small request without hesitation.
"No, Amanda, don’t tell Mr. Davis. I don’t want to trouble him anymore, besides..."
"Besides what?"
"It’s nothing..." Sophie Smith swallowed back her words, only smiling slightly, then continued busying herself.

Actually, Sophie Smith intended to cook for him to make up for injuring him; she still felt guilty about it.
When he saw her glance at his forehead wound again, he understood a bit of what she was feeling.
Watching her bustling around, he wanted to help her, but she shooed him out.

Seeing her expression suddenly turn strange, he frowned along with her.
"What’s wrong?"
"Oh, nothing." She awkwardly forced a smile.
He ate happily, "From now on, I don’t want to eat food made by the house’s chef anymore. What you made suits my taste perfectly."
This was indeed high praise for her, and she felt a sense of being flattered and surprised.
"Did you ever cook for Third Young Master Land before?" Nolan Davis didn’t know why he asked such a self-tornting question, perhaps he couldn’t help comparing himself with Asher Land. He thought how great it would be if he could have sothing Asher never had.

"Amanda said you like Chinese food. I’ll change the chef tomorrow and get you one who can cook Chinese food." Saying this, he took another bite of fish. The fish was tender and delicious, extrely tasty.
"Mr. Davis, no need to change the chef. I might only stay by your side for another month..."
