For a long ti, he pulled himself out of his mories, his gaze coldly fixed on Nathan Land.
"Do you have anything else to say? If you do, say it quickly. I can’t guarantee you’ll live for many days."
Nathan Land’s sowhat thin fingers gripped the bedsheet tightly. Yes, he was unwilling to accept it, he had been too confident. He never thought he would fall into Asher Land’s hands.
His whole life had been a case of overconfidence.
"Are you regretting or repenting?" Asher Land let out a sneer, "Letting you die like this is already my greatest concession."
"The only mistake I made in this life was bringing you, a son with no blood relation to , back to Europe. So, what do you make of this?" Nathan Land’s voice was sowhat weak, barely audible.
No blood relation?
"You’re talking nonsense!" Asher Land didn’t know why he was so agitated. If he wasn’t Nathan Land’s son, shouldn’t he be relieved?
But if he wasn’t Nathan Land’s son, then who was his father? If he had lived so many years without knowing his father’s whereabouts, that seed even more pitiful, didn’t it?
"I’m a dying man, do I still need to lie to you? You know how many people have been with your mother. Do you think I would be with her?" Before taking them from Southern County back to Europe, he had done a DNA test with Asher Land, and the fact was, Asher Land was indeed not his son.
As for why he took Asher Land back even knowing he wasn’t his biological son, there was only one reason.
At that ti, Asher Land was only about ten years old. He thought he could ta him, but in the end, he paid the price for his confidence.
Asher Land was like an untad horse, unwilling to be controlled by anyone.
He was willing to go to Asia alone to develop, rather than stay at the headquarters. He would rather cripple his left arm for a woman than listen to him and marry a woman of business value.
"Why have you gone silent?" Nathan Land sneered, "Now, don’t you also feel quite pathetic? Your mother committing suicide, your biological father unknown, one limb disabled, your woman and son following another man, ha, living like this is indeed tragic."
With a mocking smile on his face, Nathan Land’s words pierced his heart.
"Living like this isn’t all thanks to you?" Asher Land sneered, "In this life, I’m afraid even you don’t know how many people you’ve destroyed. Lucky for you, you’ll never have that chance again."
Asher Land turned and strode out of the suffocating room.
Ace Williams had been waiting outside the door all along. Seeing Asher Land co out, he imdiately stepped forward.
"Young Master, do we need to increase the dosage in the coming days, correct?" Ace Williams was sowhat uncertain. If they continued with the 10% KIA10 dosage, Nathan Land probably wouldn’t survive a week.
"Hold off for a few days."
"What?" Ace Williams thought his ears were mistaken, Asher Land would actually say ’hold off for a few days’?
"I said, hold off for a few days." Asher Land’s voice sounded a bit impatient, although he wished Nathan Land dead imdiately, there was sothing he needed to confirm first.
"Help conduct a paternity test." He said in a deep voice.
"Yes, between whom and whom?" Ace Williams was also a bit puzzled.
"Between and Nathan Land."
"Ah?..." Ace Williams opened his mouth in surprise, clearly not expecting Asher Land would also doubt his own identity.
