The room was empty, and Nolan Davis didn’t see her figure.

He hesitated for a mont but still walked to the bathroom door. The bathroom door wasn’t completely closed, and through the gap, he saw her eyes closed, her body softly leaning against the bathtub. Perhaps she was too tired from last night, leaning against the bathtub, she had actually fallen asleep.

He waited outside for almost half an hour, and she still hadn’t woken up.
