Asher Land’s mouth twitched, wanting to say sothing but unable to get it out.
Seeing Asher Land remain silent, Eva Miller began to panic.
"President Land, you wouldn’t not help , would you?" Eva couldn’t fathom where her courage ca from, but she actually dared to cling to Asher Land.
"President Land, no, this ti, you must stand up for !" Eva was almost on the verge of dropping to her knees and clutching his leg, "Just now in the private room, he already started getting hands-on with and even tried to take off my clothes..."
"Hey! Little Chili, don’t you dare accuse of such things!" Luke Land strode over, his face showing a hint of displeasure, "I didn’t do anything to you just now."
"Your hand was already inside my clothes, and you dare to say you did nothing?" Eva pouted, complaining.
"Didn’t I see that you accidentally spilled so drink on yourself? I kindly intended to help you change into sothing clean, and you say I tried to assault you, that’s really not fair!" Luke lanted internally. Besides, it wasn’t as exaggerated as she made it sound, as if his ’hand was already inside her clothes’; in reality, he rely touched her button, and she freaked out.
Luke Land and Eva Miller seed like a classic bickering couple, with their back-and-forth banter being quite a headache.
"Eva, he, my second brother, probably ant well, don’t be mad."
It was rare for Sophie Smith to speak up for Luke Land.
"Hmph." Eva snorted through her nose, clearly deducing that neither Asher Land nor Sophie Smith would stand up for her.
"Little Chili, today my third brother and Sophie are here to have a good ti, don’t linger here getting in the way, co with ." Luke Land said as he pulled Eva over.
"Sophie, um..." Eva shot a pleading glance her way.
She truly didn’t want to go with Luke Land.
"I’ll go to the private room with you." Sophie Smith understood Eva Miller’s feelings well and naturally didn’t want to leave Eva with Luke Land.
Thus, the two of them walked arm in arm toward the private room, leaving two very disgruntled n standing on the deck in the cold wind.
"I told you, go take Eva Miller away." Asher Land was rather helpless, saying Sophie ca over to accompany him, but Eva was indeed being a bit tactless.
"And I was going to say, go ahead and help get Sophie away, such a perfect chance, I can’t let it slip by." Luke Land muttered.
"..."
When the two brothers reached the private room, Eva Miller, Sophie Smith, and Oscar Land were sitting around a round crystal table, playing cards.
Eva wore an expression of radiant happiness, her hands almost getting tired from counting money; her luck was incredibly good!
When Asher Land ca in, Sophie was just counting a stack of money from her bag and handing it to the excited Eva.
"Wow, I’m making a fortune!" Eva chattered in amazent.
"Lost?" Asher Land sat down beside Sophie, putting a large hand around her waist.
"Yeah." Sophie gave a helpless smile, "I already said I’m not good at playing cards, but Eva insisted I play with her. How could I be a match for her and big brother?"
"So, you two are ganging up on my woman?" Asher Land raised an eyebrow, directing his gaze at Eva and Oscar Land.
"President Land, that’s not true!" Eva put the money into her bag, "We were playing cards openly and honestly, not doing anything shady, how could it be called ganging up? Besides, President Land, are you a sore loser?"
