Outside the car window, the pouring rain sowhat obscured the view. On the way to the airport, due to the terrible weather conditions, the traffic was jamd, stretching as far as the eye could see.
Sophie Smith couldn’t help but feel a bit anxious; they wouldn’t miss the flight, would they?

Sophie was about to retort when suddenly, a blinding light shone from the opposite lane, and before she could react, Asher pulled her into his arms with force and protected her head with his hand.
She didn’t even have ti to scream; all she felt was a whirlwind in front of her, a violent impact on her entire body, as if she were being crushed.
Glass scraped across her cheek; the sound of crashing thunder filled her ears. She weakly clutched his sleeve, ...

Eva Miller opened the car door, like a madwoman; she charged forward through the torrential rain, wearing ten-centiter high heels.
