"Those old matters, Mr. Davis, I don’t need your reminders."
Sophie Smith didn’t know what she was angry about. Indeed, what Nolan Davis said was true. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to admit it, or that she didn’t care. She just knew that Asher Land wouldn’t betray her without reason.

"Alright." Sophie nodded.
She had lunch at the Davis Family with Alexander, and after lunch, she decided to take Alexander back.
"Mommy, I don’t want to go back yet. I still want to stay here for a while longer to play chess with Uncle Davis."
Sophie was a little taken aback. A five-year-old child challenging Nolan Davis, a man with a mature intellect?
"Alexander, you’re not a match for Mr. Davis."
"Why not?" Alexander retorted, dissatisfied. "I won against Uncle Davis twice last night."
Won twice in a row?
Sophie looked suspiciously at Nolan Davis.
"I didn’t go easy on him." Nolan Davis raised his hand and swore. Who knows how high Alexander’s IQ really is? His intelligence crushes a lot of people.
Sophie looked at Alexander with admiration. "Alright, Mommy believes you. This afternoon, Mommy wants to take you sowhere, so shall we say goodbye to Uncle Davis first?"
Seeing Sophie saying this, Alexander didn’t insist on staying at Nolan Davis’s house any longer.
He obediently got into Sophie’s car and fastened his seatbelt by himself.
"Goodbye, Uncle Davis." Alexander rolled down the car window and waved goodbye to Nolan Davis.
"Goodbye."
Sophie started the car, made a turn, and disappeared from Nolan Davis’s sight.
In the car, Alexander was caressing the newly assembled race car toy, fascinated.
"Mommy, where are you taking ?" Alexander asked.
Actually, she didn’t know if what she was doing was inappropriate. She didn’t really want to take Alexander anywhere; she just wanted to temporarily get him away from Nolan Davis.
Now that Asher Land is back, she feels it’s necessary to tell Alexander the truth that he has a father. In the past, she didn’t dare to ntion Asher Land in front of Alexander because she couldn’t find him for four years. She didn’t want to disappoint Alexander, so she chose to hide it. However, since seeing Asher Land last night, her heart has felt a bit lighter. No matter the reason Asher Land doesn’t want to see him, the fact is he’s back, right?
She still firmly believed in her heart that he still had feelings for her. So, he would definitely co to find her and their son again.
"Mommy, tell , where are you taking ?" Seeing Sophie didn’t answer, Alexander asked again.
Sophie pondered for a mont and slowly spoke.
"Alexander, what if I said I am taking you to et your father?"
