"I said, don’t agree to let Nolan Davis accompany Alexander to the parent-child sports day, got it?" Soone’s face looked extrely unpleasant.
"Oh..." So that’s what he’s been brooding over on the drive back.
"Fine, I won’t agree then. But, who’s going to accompany Alexander?" she deliberately asked back.
"You know, if Mr. Davis doesn’t accompany him, Alexander will be really upset. No matter what, soone has to go with him..."
Besides, since it’s a parent-child event, Asher Land is undoubtedly the most suitable candidate.
Asher Land didn’t answer her, just continued walking upstairs on his own.
Honestly, she didn’t know what this man’s issue was. If he was so bothered by how close Alexander was to Nolan Davis, why didn’t he make an effort to win over Alexander? If he disliked being called uncle, why not just tell Alexander that he’s actually his father?
As they walked upstairs, Alexander was sitting properly on the sofa, TV on, his little hand constantly changing channels with the remote.

F1 races were playing on TV, and Alexander seed to have a particular fondness for them, his eyes fixed on the screen with intense focus.
Asher Land didn’t expect his son to have this hobby. At his age, shouldn’t he be watching Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf?
"Um, Asher Land, you take a rest for a bit, I’ll go make dinner."
Sophie Smith said, then turned and walked into the kitchen.
Asher Land sat down on the sofa beside him, but Alexander didn’t even turn his head at his approach.
And so, Boss Land once again felt magnificently ignored.
"Is the racing interesting?" he asked ever so lightly.
Alexander nodded.
"Do you really like racing cars?"
Alexander nodded again.
"Are you mute? When soone asks you a question, you don’t know how to speak?" Asher Land naturally wasn’t very good-tempered, especially with kids, and he couldn’t coax them. He was born with a bad temper.
Alexander shot him a look, "Uncle, you’re really annoying. Could you be silent for a few minutes? I don’t have ti to talk to you right now."
Between the two, the atmosphere was tense, and as soon as Sophie Smith ca out of the kitchen, she saw this scene.
She also felt a bit of a headache, these two’s tempers are so alike.
Sophie Smith stayed busy in the kitchen for a long ti, and finally, after more than an hour, the al was served.

"Mommy, why is it scrambled eggs and egg drop soup again?" Alexander expressed his frustration, as whenever he was alone dining at ho with Sophie Smith, the only dish besides eggs was eggs.
"Sophie Smith, are you sure feeding the kid like this won’t lead to malnutrition?"
Facing the simultaneous accusations from both big and small, Sophie Smith felt quite helpless.
"I had initially cooked pork rib soup too, but the soup boiled dry..."
She boiled the soup dry?
His woman really was sothing.
"So Mommy, tonight, are we really only having these two dishes?" Alexander’s eyes showed so disappointnt.
"Oh, there’s one more."
Alexander’s eyes lit up, knowing his mommy wouldn’t just serve scrambled eggs and egg drop soup for him.
Sophie Smith ran to the kitchen and brought out a bowl of oily green vegetables.
"Eating eggs and vegetables will make it more nutritious."
Alexander dropped his head, letting out a heavy sigh.
