Early the next morning, after sending Alexander to school, the first thought in Sophie Smith’s mind was to look for Asher Land.
His phone never got through, so Sophie had to go to the company to find him. But when she got there, she was inford by the secretary of the president’s office that the president didn’t co to work today.
Just as she was at a loss, a familiar figure suddenly caught her eye.
"Second Brother!" Sophie called out to the figure facing away from her and unconsciously ran towards him.
Luke Land secretly cursed inwardly, thinking that now, should he just run away?
He understood in his heart that she must be here to ask questions about Asher Land. How should he answer her?
Asher is in the hospital now. He told him that if Sophie asked about him, he mustn’t say a word about it.
While thinking it over, Sophie already ran to his side.
"Second Brother, where is Asher?" Looking at that face full of anticipation, Luke really didn’t know what to do.
"Sophie, I, I don’t know where Third Brother is. Why, hasn’t he contacted you recently?" Luke had to play dumb.
"So, you don’t know either..." Her face was full of disappointnt, as if the last glimr of hope was shattered.
Her figure walked back sowhat dejectedly, and seeing her like that, Luke couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable inside as well.

Before Luke finished speaking, Sophie turned around in surprise, walked briskly to him, and looked up at him.
"Asher, what happened to him?"
Luke really wished he could slap himself. Why did he have to open his mouth!
"Oh, he, he caught a cold and is in the hospital. He might need to rest for two days."

She was sure that Luke must know where Asher was; he just wasn’t willing to say now. What should she do?

"Yes, Eva must be able to coax the truth out of Second Brother," Sophie muttered to herself, not hesitating as she took out her phone to call Eva Miller.

Quickly, Eva obtained crucial information from Luke and sent the address to Sophie’s phone.
Sophie rushed to the parking lot, took a breath, and drove towards the hospital where Asher currently was.
She soon found the hospital; the address and details Eva sent were very precise, even the ward number was clear.
The hospital was crowded and noisy, and because she was in such a hurry, she didn’t disguise herself at all, resulting in quickly being recognized by others, making the previously lifeless hospital instantly lively.
Many onlookers took out their phones, pointing their caras at her.
